"This copper record coated in .997 gold (24 karat) celebrates the song’s transition from dark to light and its message of inclusivity and understanding that we all sing along to with a common heart."

    Charges $800

Reminds me of the corporations saying "we're all in this together" during COVID.

Did Frank just play the long-game of creating years of scarcity and then dropping an open pre-order at a really high price that nobody’s really gonna say no to? If so, bravo.

Yeah, really just want the EPs, having previously copped the 3LP set. Kinda hoping they become available in the future, all the while knowing that if it happens they will somehow cost more than buying this set would now.

If there's a band that's the sonic equivalent of an adrenaline rush, it's Glassjaw. Hailing from Long Island, New York, these guys are the epitome of post-hardcore and alternative rock fusion. Formed in the '90s, Glassjaw have consistently delivered music that punches you in the gut and tugs at your heartstrings.
Glassjaw's music is a rollercoaster ride through raw emotion, with explosive guitar riffs, impassioned vocals, and lyrics that cut straight to the core of human experience. They've cultivated a dedicated following over the years, thanks to their intense live performances and the uncanny ability to capture the turmoil of life in their songs.
In their discography, you'll find gems like "Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence" and "Worship and Tribute." These albums are sonic battlegrounds where introspection and chaos collide. Whether you're diving into the dissonant depths of "Siberian Kiss" or riding the cathartic wave of "Ape Dos Mil," Glassjaw's music leaves an indelible mark on your soul.
With their emotionally charged lyrics and dynamic soundscapes, Glassjaw tackles themes like love, loss, and the human condition. Each track feels like a raw confession, making you feel like you are sharing a deep, personal moment with the band.
Over the years, Glassjaw's lineup has shifted, but their commitment to crafting authentic, visceral music remains unwavering. Daryl Palumbo's distinctive vocals and Justin Beck's frenetic guitar work are the backbone of their sound. It's sound-crushing and cathartic, keeping fans hooked for decades.
Beyond the music, Glassjaw's artistic vision extends to their album artwork and merchandise. Their vinyl records aren't just auditory treasures but also visual ones. Each album cover is a piece of art in its own right, adding a tactile dimension to your music collection.
As you explore Glassjaw's vinyl records, you're not just adding music to your collection but inviting a piece of their passionate, visceral world into your life. Whether you're spinning their records at full volume in your living room or delicately examining the album art, Glassjaw's music is an experience that's meant to be felt as much as heard.
So, dive into the world of Glassjaw on vinyl and let their sonic intensity wash over you. It's more than music; it's a journey through the highs and lows of life, wrapped in the warm crackle of a vinyl record.

My favorite records of the year thus far, in no specific order (this is stuff I actually physically bought on vinyl):
Ben Folds - What Matters Most
    Paramore - This Is Why
The Hives - The Death Of Randy Fitzsimmons
    Ratboys - The Window
    Baroness - Stone
    Gaslight Anthem - History Books
    Jeff Rosenstock - HELLMODE
Foo Fighters - But Here We Are
    Superviolet - Infinite Spring
    Lies - S/T
    Chris Farren - Doom Singer
White Reaper - Asking For A Ride

I liked these albums too, but have only listened digitally:
    Vacationer - Cherish
    boygenius - the record
    Paint It Black - Famine
Crime In Stereo - House & Trance
Fiddlehead - Death Is Nothing To Us
    Rancid - Tomorrow Never Comes
The Dirty Nil - Free Rein To Passions
    AJJ - Disposable Everything

This year has fucking rocked! I honestly think the last time I had this much new killer music to listen to was a decade ago.
    Favorites in no particular order:
    AJJ - Disposable Everything
Menzingers - Some of it Was True
Crime in Stereo - House in Trance
    Gaslight Anthem - History Books
Blink 182 - One More Time

McLusky put out a bad ass EP called Unpopular Parts of a Pig, the new IDLES single is super promising and I can't wait to hear their new album. Only 2 albums that didn't meet my expectations were the new Taking Back Sunday and new Spanish Love Songs records. I need to spend more time with the former, the latter has a strong first half and ending but the middle is a snoozefest. Hoping 2024 brings us a new Iron Chic record 🤞
