hah, i dont think people hate korn just because "its cool" to hate them. The problem with korn now is they are a self parody. when i was 12-13, it was the heaviest thing id ever heard on the radio or seen live (and those records are still heavy even by todays standards) and i can see how if you arent old enough to have been around during that era of the band that it could be a hard concept to grasp. finding and consuming music back then was very different than it is now. so, ill even credit them and deftones as the gateway bands into heavier music for me. the difference is deftones are still killing it whereas there is no creative reserves left in this band to tap. in their older / sober years, they seem like decent and approachable people which i think is cool but i just cringe so hard at everything they've done for over a decade.

with NJ you could maybe argue that lineup changes hurt peoples perspective of the band (not to suggest thats fair since NJ is still writing pretty decent music). nobody from the bless the martyr days is left though and only cory is left from the o'god - meriodional era. chris day seemed to just disappear shortly after wrongdoers came out. ETID has had lineup changes too but the core of the band has remained consistent (plus jordon and andy are riff machines). 

song is a lot better than i expected but that artwork is terrible.

whenever i listen to RW, i always think "this is pretty good" but i never find myself going out of my way to go back to that record. its a good listen-through but its just not as memorable.

like everything ive been hearing off this record. kinda surprised to see sean ingram on a norma jean song but its cool. 

i feel like calla is the heaviest track on the record, not vorel.

thats because it most likely was never an error. just greed. this isnt amazon - its a relatively small e-commerce site were talking about. fuckin' clowns.

MB is one of those bands that wrote a couple songs that rule and then everything else makes me cringe so bad with second hand embarrassment that i cant listen to it.

I'd say to him "hey, you're pretty smart. Good on you." I don't know why people care so much about what other people do with the things they own. I mean, the record store might have paid the original owner 10 bucks for that record for all anyone knows. This happens way more at record stores / trade-in places than you would think. They will take advantage. A lot of people own stuff that is worth money and don't even know it because people are stupid. Point is - that record store isn't necessarily any less unscrupulous than someone who potentially spent 150 bucks on it to flip somewhere else. Once you take ownership of something, you can do whatever you want with it.
