  1. The Sox could have the best line-up in baseball, but they still have a couple of holes. I don't think they have the pitching to make a solid run this year. All the dollar store pitching signings lately. Looks like they want to fund their Bartolo.
  2. That was a bitch move by Marchand. Lucic had just stepped on to change so no penalty. I can't wait for that Rangers game either. I was at the Garden when they lit Calgary, every Bs line is playing pretty solid. What about that Subban hit-to-turtle combo on Krecji last night?
  3. Yes, this is called throwaway ticketing. If you do not show up for your first leg (MKE-ORD), the airline will cancel the rest of your itinerary. So when you showed up in Chicago, your reservation would already be canceled, and you'd have to purchase a new ticket. The same might not be true for your return. Some airlines consider each leg "one way" even if you've book a round-trip ticket. So while you'd be cancelled in Chicago, your return flight may still be valid. Not sure if this information helps you in this scenario but there it is.
  4. Picking up women ain't much different from anything else. Just remember to lift with the legs and you'll fine.
  5. I'll give you Popsike's median price.
  6. If you didn't like the first three it probably isn't going to pick up tremendously for you. Humor is subjective, if you don't like it don't waste your time.
  7. If you have no experience I think VIRB is a better solution. The themes are decent and it is smaller, and thus simpler, than Wordpress. Carbonmade will also get you a simple portfolio site up and running in no time, the downside is that it doesn't look totally unique. That said, Wordpress certainly will get it done and is still a good option. I juts find it isn't the most intuitive to set up yourself without HTML / CSS knowledge.
  8. Sixty percent of the time they sell on eBay for $50+ everytime.
  9. Do these things sell a lot? I bought a QOTSA record recently and the guy said: "Do you collect any Man's Ruin stuff? I have some vinyl pressing plates/stampers for MR-019 and MR-096 if you want. Each is a set of two plates with a vinyl 7" copy. $50 per set if you want one, I can send pictures of course." I didnt know there was market for tertiary collectibles like this.
  10. 511s are pretty much all I'm wearing right now but they sure are cut inconsistently between washes! To the dude whos pants shrunk, are they 100% cotton? I prefer the 511s with 1 or 2 percent spandex and think they hold shape better. My all cotton ones shrink and firm up in the wash.
  11. This dude is awesome. I see him around town frequently and he is always friendly. Sanders seems like one of the few legit dudes not making amendments based on cash contributions. The Citzens United ruling is a disaster.
  12. If you want to feel cleansed cut diary, booze and refined sugars for a bit. I'm sure you'll lose weight but the cleanest I ever felt was when I went vegan. You'll never realize how shitty dairy products make you feel until you quit. You could also try the unbelievably indulgent under 550 calorie menu from Applebees I keep hearing about.
  13. I see these pop of on eBay from time to time at a pretty varied price range but if anyone has been looking for or is interested in this there seem to be a couple at the directly at the Bronx store for $4.99. Not sure how many since it is pretty old (2007) but it isn't an error because I got a copy with the MEB II a few months ago. http://mariachielbronx.shop.musictoday.com/Product.aspx?cp=47984_50003&pc=XNLP03
  14. Without getting too deep into this, seeing as I didn't major in animal ethics.. you proved my point for me. You're telling me what is and isn't right or wrong or good or bad. I, and the 95% of the world that agrees with me, will continue to eat meat because it tastes good. Get over it. Just because you think differently doesn't mean you're better than anyone. It's the high and mighty bullshit that gets vegans so made fun of. You might as well be an evangelical nut too. Now excuse me while I eat my chicken and bacon ranch sub from subway. Eat your heart out vegans. Though that would break vegan edge.. This is the entire problem in a nutshell. I find a lot of vegans comparable to Michael Moore. There are some valid points about health and the environment in there but you have to wade through and awful lot of finger-wagging and condescension to find it. The frequency and forcefulness in which most vegans proselytize is probably not effective. The most frequent response I see, a vehement promise to continue to eat more meat, is also not helpful. So round and round we go. Weeeeeee.
  15. there'd be less methane in the air if there werent so many damn humans. we should all kill ourselves. This is my take as well. The most ethical thing to do is to starve yourself to death.
  16. Is that Norwood store still worth hitting up. I'm headed down there to see some hockey this weekend but have to return some shit to IKEA in Stoughton. Thinking about looping back by Norwood on the way up to Boston but I think someone said their used section is no longer great. Anyone?
  17. Might not be the most popular choice around here but I really want this.
  18. Dunno for sure about that as an indicator, 600 seems a little low to me unless it is a specific color variant, but it is only a matter of time. Have you ever known Relapse to NOT continually press new variants? I'm surprised there already isn't two additional pressings of Murder the Mountains.
  19. The problem with signing this on the wax in marker is that it tends to wear off. If you have someone carve their name in exacto, now that stays.
  20. They had a copy at Newbury in ME last time through. I've only seen it there but they seem to have copies. If you really looking for it and can get to Newbury it seems worth a shot.
  21. You mean Blue Light Lime right? Now that's a beer!
