  1. This store is a chain of about 5 stores in my area, and I think each store got one copy. When I got mine, I think there were 2 stores that still had their copy (including the one I bought). I'll give the other store a call tomorrow and check.
  2. I've heard of these guys, but never heard their music. RIYL?
  3. Just saw this morning on twitter that a local store got the RSD version in, and I was able to snag one today. It's pretty awesome.
  4. Dang, if I didn't already have most of those... Pretty cool though.
  5. And speaking of the Soul Temple bandcamp page, you can now order a 2LP version of the new Ghostface that is "The Brown Tape" version, which is the Apollo Brown mix. Ships in June. I wish I wasn't such a sucker for Ghostface stuff. Looks like I might have 6 versions of this album (3 with vocals, and 3 instrumentals). Haha.
  6. I haven't heard anything either. I emailed them to cancel my order so that I could order the Get On Down version, but never hear back, so looks like I have both version coming in the mail. It seems like I remember hearing that people who ordered the Man With the Iron Fists soundtrack from the Soul Temple bandcamp either never received them, or they just took forever. Too bad that store isn't managed very well.
  7. I think, from what I've read, they're not contacting anybody by phone or email. You're just supposed to check online in your order, and it will tell you if they're going to have that in stock. However, I haven't really been able to get an answer from them if they are holding items to ship to people, or just that they will ship it if they still have it in stock on Monday. I've written and received a couple of emails today from them, and they never completely answer my question. So, I'm a bit perplexed...
  8. So, I'm pretty new to the Mondo stuff, and have just been following them on twitter for updates of when their posters go on sale. I've seen a few of you guys mention "surprise drops." Are those just unexpected posters that go up when announced posters do, or are they posters that are secretly put up on their website without any announcement? That Horkey "Canus Dirus" looks awesome, by the way.
  9. So, anyone that's done the Strictly Discs "pre-request" thing: They will supposedly email you a day or two beforehand, and let you know what they will and will not be able to supply you? I've never done this before with them.
  10. I've have to also admit that I've been a little disappointed with this. The Bazan songs are good, but I can't say that I like any of the Will Johnson songs yet. But yeah, I may have gone into it with too high of expectations.
  11. I'd be very excited for the Oblivion soundtrack. The few songs I've heard from it sound very cool. Interested to see the artwork for it.
  12. I'm pretty late to the party on this, but does anyone know if there's a sound quality difference between the US and Death Waltz versions? I don't care too much about the album art on this one, so if the US one is of good quality as well, I'll probably save the money and get that one. Anyone have both to compare? Thanks.
  13. Got one! Was hoping to get a poster as well, but I'm glad that I at least got the record.
  14. Got mine today, as well. Awesome job guys, definitely worth the purchase.
  15. Hey, could you provide a link for those? I'd be somewhat interested. I've never listened to his solo stuff, but I've met him a few times seeing Efterklang, and I love them.
  16. I think some part in their processing of orders marks shipments prematurely as "shipped." I ordered the new Low record, and it said that it had shipped more than a month early, and I emailed to ask if that was accurate. They said no; it would ship just before the expected release date. So, I probably wouldn't get my hopes up.
  17. The sticker sheets look nice, just the same as the lyrics would look had they been printed correctly in the book. I think I'll just keep the sticker sheet in the book, but not actually paste the stickers in.
  18. Yeah, I just ordered this and a Patton Oswalt record. According to wikipedia, Patton's "Werewolves and Lollipops" record is limited to 500. There has to be multiple pressings of this though, since it's still pretty available a few years later, don't you think?
