  1. Good on first listen - not so far from s/t but better hooks and more interesting musically. Lights was the only standout track for me from that record. All the Rage Back Home is a great opener.
  2. I agree completely. Very excited for this one. Creative process is obviously different for Scott this time around. I think he typically writes lyrics first and creates music to complement them. I love Bish Bosch.
  3. They mistakenly posted that it would be available on red, which is incorrect. Turns out all copies are going to be black, per an email from Matador Direct.
  4. I've seen some talk that the link is fake. Anybody listen to it?
  5. My first order cancelled with all the others but I placed a 2nd later that day (about 2:30 EST) and that one was processed and just shipped.
  6. i am way too old to creep into hot topic to look for this. I wonder if any more will be posted?
  7. The rollout of these releases is a total shit show. In the old days Caldo Verde would post all available copies and would sell them until they ran out. Seems simple to me. None of this multi-retailer approach with people who think they were able to purchase copies only to find out months later that there weren't any there to begin with.
  8. This is really great: Symbol - Online Architecture http://holodeckrecords.bandcamp.com/album/online-architecture-hd022
  9. Mine came in from Young God today. Really striking packaging. Signed by Michael Gira also.
  10. This should be around for a while. Aside from the Perfect Pussy blood hysteria and Mac Demarco, these deluxes usually stick around.
  11. Curious song choice by Circa for what is probably the most high profile release of their career so far. Not representative of what they do well. It's more of a throwaway B-side IMO.
  12. I caved and picked a blood version up on ebay and was able to get it for under a hundred bucks. Funny thing was it came addressed from the band themselves (or at least whoever fills their merch orders) in Syracuse. Included some other random stuff like stickers, buttons and a pen. I guess they are auctioning off some of the leftovers (or at least one).
  13. Awesome! I was just thinking about this band recently.
  14. This site seems to have the Liars release, but shipping from Finland to the US is very pricey. Total came out to be almost $70.00, so I did not pull the trigger. http://www.recordshopx.com/single/liars/mess_on_a_mission_limited/
  15. Not sure how long PO has been up, but here it is, same link as above: http://chaosintejas.bigcartel.com/product/merchandise-destruction-unit-milk-music-usa-13-lp
  16. Cool, what time did you order yesterday? Mine went in just before 8 EST
  17. I don't mean just here on this thread. I think it's relevant in a general discussion.
  18. Not sure why most people hyping PP are not mentioning Shoppers. Silver Year is a way better record than this one, IMO.
  19. great after first listen. definitely a little more industrial electronic sounding. I just love how these guys have a new sound with every release but always sound like themselves. I can't think of a more (successfully) consistently evolving american band.
  20. Yes - they wrote me back and said that they were sorry but white vinyl was only available while supplies lasted. I remember it seeming pretty clear that it was available back when I placed the order, but I could be wrong. Their site isn't always that descriptive when it comes to product info. I replied back to her asking if she knew when it became unavailable but don't expect it to make much of a difference.
