Why is it in the indie record community the price is "never right" or over priced but in the emo/pop/punk scene fans are more than happy to pay 100$+ for valuable records. I don't get it. If the price doesn't seem right for you, keep it to yourself, why put an OP on blast? I've seen this happen sooo many times here including myself, and it seems like there are more and more entitled feeling people who aren't on their game and able to pre-order items on time so they go bash, "flippers" like people aren't going to buy those records anyways. If record labels cared about "flipping" they'd either price the records high themselves or put a cap on how many per customer. Slumberland Records does this and it seems to work just fine. I'm getting fed up with the young entitled people of our society these days. This isn't just a hang out spot, people conduct business here and if you don't like what they're selling, best move on. Or better yet, search Discogs, Gemm, Pop Sike, eBay sold listings to get a better view of the price range out on the market. Vent complete. 

I finally get it! After so many hecklers have PMed through eBay and other forums telling me how they are "real fans" and selling records that they weren't able to obtain makes them upset and whiny like they're entitled to it.

Well no ones posted on this forum for months so I figured maybe somebody knew something I didn't. But to my knowledge, last fall they announced the set to be released and more details by the first the the year, then nothing. But your totally right... I'm definitly a deuche for wondering if anyone knew anything about my favorite bands mythical box set.

As much as I love football season, it'll be nice to have basketball back.  The Nuggets are coming into the season forgotten and underrated (like they always do) but I'm really excited to see what Shaw has in store.  The more I think about it, the better I feel about Karl being let go.  Shaw is great at player development and I wouldn't be surprised if he creates a couple of super stars over the next few seasons.

I've got a few prints I've picked up at shows and have never framed / hung them. Now that I've got my own place I'm going to do it for sure.
 
After a few more, anybody got any sugestion on where to pick them up online? (other than ebay)
I've seen the watchmen on and NEED that, also a flaming moe simpsons one that's pretty rad.

I sure as shit do not buy multiples of the same.  Not really knocking that if that's your thing.  But I am more than comfortable with a one and done.  That said, I buy what I can afford.  So moderation is obviously part of that equation. 

last week i stepped on a scale for the first time in about 6-8 months, which was right around the same time i really got back into buying vinyl. no joke, i've dropped 40 pounds, and it's definitely not from exercising more or juicing or anything like that. it's just because i'd rather spend my money on vinyl than food.

Yeah I got that link from Sean, that was super nice of him. Like 30-40 free mp3 records. Stoked to get the Cosmonauts stuff and the Pangea record on my computer. Got an email from the guys at YepRoc and they have started mailing orders out in chronological order so its just a matter of time that they get to your order. They will send out a tracking # when your orders go out. And Sean said there were something like 600 orders they had to transfer over.
