stl_ben
Cap 2 is the best comic book movie of the summer ... until Guardians comes out. Think that is going to blow people's minds like Iron Man 1 did.
bluedeni
Digging that they made Josh Brolin Thanos. That guy was born to play the ultimate one dimensional character.
jhulud
The new X-Men was really good. Very faithful to the source material and although plenty of liberties taken, it was a very nice wrap-up to the X-Men canon for now. I greatly enjoyed. If you've seen it, hopefully you stayed til after credit for the bonus scene that hints at the next movie.
noalarmplanet
I read age of Apocalypse as a kid and so I got chills during that scene. CAP 2 is hands down the best superhero movie, but i've got soft spot for political thrillers so this may have been why I enjoyed CAP so much. Really bummed about Ant-Man. OrangeJoe
Age of apocalypse is one of the best comic storis, apocalypse is so bad ass. If they do it right, no movie will compare.
tarzioo_
Xmen was amazing. I loved quicksilver. I'm interested in seeing how the other quicksilver will be. Cap 2 WAS GOOD!! I hate IMAX and it was pretty awesome in it. Good all around. I'm dying to see guardians. ROCKET RACCOON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
dantheriver
Xmen was amazing. I loved quicksilver. I'm interested in seeing how the other quicksilver will be. Joss Whedon isn't watching DOFP to make sure he isn't influenced by their Quicksilver. Really excited to see how different/similar they turn out. dantheriver
I thought think Ant Man may turn out alright now that Adam McKay us supposedly going to direct. It won't be the movie we were supposed to get, but I agree that it will probably be pretty solid with McKay on board.
kurtz
Some interesting shenanigans going on in the comic book world right now with Marvel (Disney) and their movie rights. http://www.bleedingcool.com/2014/05/29/would-marvel-really-cancel-fantastic-four-to-snub-fox/ http://www.bleedingcool.com/2014/05/30/artists-given-specific-instructions-not-to-use-fantastic-four-characters/ I am interested to hear an official statement from Marvel about this. 3arl
Ugh, Adam McKay was supposed to sign on for Ant Man today, which would've been sick, but he backed out at the last second. Obviously Edgar Wright can't be replaced, but Adam McKay would've been a fun replacement. Now they're just going to get some journeyman director and it'll probably end up a good movie, but not near what it could've been.
Family Friendly Rap God
Age of apocalypse is one of the best comic storis, apocalypse is so bad ass. If they do it right, no movie will compare. My favorite is the Phoenix saga and they royally shit the bed with that one. But Apocalypse should be great to watch
jhulud
My favorite X-Men story arcs from the comic books were: The Mutant Massacre, The Fall of The Mutants, and Inferno.

Family Friendly Rap God
The director of Sinister (Scott Derrickson) is directing the Dr. Strange movie. Also the director of Dodgeball passed on Ant Man

Also the director of Dodgeball passed on Ant Man I actually know him and think he's got his head in the right place for the Dr. Strange movie. He's a huge Marvel comics fan and I'm really stoked for him!

Family Friendly Rap God
Supposedly there is talk for Jared Leto as Dr. Strange!!? I heard that too. As well as Hugh Laurie (who I would LOVE to see) and Patrick Dempsey who is apparently a Marvel fan
slinch
So Peyton Reed was just confirmed to direct Ant-Man. I don't think any of the movies he made are good, but who knows. Here's the synopsis for the film: Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
dantheriver
I don't think any of the movies he made are good, but who knows. At least he was involved with some decent TV. Don't agree with their choice at all though, probably the one I wanted least out of all the rumored guys.
3arl
Apparently Adam McKay will still have some script polishing involvement. But yeah, it's a weird choice.
radiatorhums
So Peyton Reed was just confirmed to direct Ant-Man. I don't think any of the movies he made are good, but who knows. Just looked him up, the dude has made garbage movies. I was really looking forward to Wright's film and now I have very little interest in this. Apparently, David Wain was being reported as a front runner for this. I would have much rather had him do it.
