PO: As Tall As Lions - S/T repress

Recommended Posts

It's, weird. Too lazy to post pics but there's an outer jacket with punched in holes, and the album cover itself is like the inner jacket that holds the record. It's nice and it sounds good and the color is beautiful, but I wonder why they went with that.

Yeah I saw that. Always just curious to see any variations in different copies as far as the record itself. SRC still hasn't shipped mine. Big surprise.

Man, some negative nancys up in here. Can't we just go back to being glad this was finally repressed, and a better quality than the previous pressings?

Also, it seems like Triple Crown was just into this type of look. They did the same thing for From Indian Lakes new record which was probably pressed around the same time:

I have a couple records that came that way and they play fine. What's the problem?

I would hope you're joking? If you buy a product you expect it to be as close to what its meant to be. Would you use bent nails, or buy a car with a bent frame? Same principle...also its awful for your tone arm...

Ive kept some records with minor warps, that just slightly move the tone arm up. If it bounces it off or is doing a lot of up and down work, I will try to return it!

Right. And these bowling warps are generally gradual/minor, not the kind that jump the needle. That's why I asked why it was a problem. Sure, I'm never asking or expecting my records to come with any kind of warp but if it's playable and doesn't jump the needle why make a fuss of it?
