When you said this it got me thinking how much I wanted Real Estate's first album and Atlas on cassette. So I ordered some blank Black C-45's just like their Reality EP cassette was on and dubbed those albums to cassette. I want to make the J-Cards exactly like the Reality cassette so I am going to figure out how to do that in photoshop and can hopefully have them looking like the real thing. To the left is what I am basing it off of and on the right is the tape I dubbed. Sounds amazing very close in quality to Domino's Days cassette. I used my vinyl copy of the album as the source. I've tried several from garage sales and thrift stores and all were broken in some regard. (Mostly) affordable, and very accessible-- I dunno when but at some point I started buy more cassettes than vinyl. But that probably has a lot to do with price point.
