thomas
I got a bit bored after work so I decided to straighten up my closet full of shipping crap. I ended up throwing away a bunch of stuff that is unusable, but I was surprised I still had this much (even though it is not a ton). Anyone else keep all their reusables? casey
I do definitely. You can white or black them out, flip them inside out or just tape paper over the old addreses. Saves a bundle on new mailers.
kyle
Anybody actively involved in buying/selling/trading and doesn't save their mailers is an idiot. I wish I had as many mailers as you, I'm planning a big ebay sale this week.
mrc
thats way more than i have. i have about 10 lp mailers and a few 7" ones in my closet and probably 10 more in the trunk of my car. But i do have a huge stack of delivery confirmation, insurance and customs forms in my desk drawer
lostatsea
I keep all the mailers I get. Unless its some crap job. Why wouldn't you?
thomas
I used to throw all mine out for about a year or so when I first started buying online. I can't imagine how many I'd still have if I kept all the ones I threw away and all the ones I reused. I wish I had some 7 inch mailers, but I never seem to get one when I buy a 7 inch just some cardboard. If I ever do get a 7 inch mailer, it gets reused pretty fast usually. enjoyadrian
i really dont sell records (only have sold one), but I save them in the back of my car. I think I have about 10 lp mailers and 1 7" mailer.
kurtz
I keep all my mailers and boxes too. I don't sell much, so they pile up fast. I've probably got around 50-60 LP mailers, about 10-15 7" mailers and around 10-15 other various sized boxes.
scottheisel
My entire office at work is filled with LP mailers. I wish I had 7-inch mailers, I never can find one when I need one. Anyone in Northeastern Ohio who wants LP mailers can have some free of charge, just PM me and we can set up a time for you to swing by and grab some. desensitizedbyu
I have about a three foot stack of LP mailers in my garage. Even though I rarely send any records, for some reason I keep them. Also have a handful of 7" mailers, too.
adamlikesmusic
I have tons of shipping supplies. Bundles of boxes, dozens of used mailers, bubble mailers, and just plain bubble wrap. I even use a massive roll of bubble wrap as a nightstand, as I had nowhere else to put it.
controlthebleeding
I save just about every box or mailer i can.. You never know when you're gonna need them. i don't have alot as i trade alot, but i always have 10 or 12 of each( 7" or 12") at any given time. rtw88
I never buy online, only trade, so I don't have anything right now except for a 7 inch mailer. I need to get some. I had to make a mailer last week and it was a pain in the ass.
steventangent
Anybody have any idea what the best way to ship a bunch of 12" mailers is?
AlexH.
Damn. I wish I'd saved some mailers, I've got a bunch of stuff I need to ship out. I don't really have a place here at school to store them, so I usually only have mailers for whatever I got in the mail in the last week. The rest go in the recycling, which is really dumb now that I think about it, now I have to go out behind the dining center and look for big boxes to make mailers. jailhouse
Anybody have any idea what the best way to ship a bunch of 12" mailers is? Yeah shipping is the pain in the ass, a bunch of lp mailers typically need to go Priority mail, or UPS. which is obviously expensive, I have thought about, if I threw a cd in a huge ass box, and claimed the other 50+ pounds of mailers were packing material, if it would qualify for media mail? hmmm... devilstrombone
I definately do. It saves time and money when shipping out your own records.
