xxmartinxx
For me it's the surface noise. If I buy a new record I'm pretty assured that their won't be much if any at all, however sometimes you buy that used record that is almost listenable. danthemjfan23
if this thread's title had one less letter, the answer would be "it costs a ton to ship to thailand." but since it's not, i'll just agree with Josh.

circlingvultures
Trying to stay on top of new releases while tracking down older records I missed. Buying a record you've wanted forever only to find it skips. New records that sound like crap.

rhythmgtr5
not being able to find any of the classic rock LPs that I want locally. Any time I find one, I get excited but once i pull it out of the sleeve - it's either warped or beat to shit. such a tease

enjoyadrian
the window of time you have to get some releases before they go oop. lately it feels like this is happening faster than usual.
bruins4ever
Paying for it. It's an expensive way to listen to music after shipping fees, especially to Canada (Canada Post is extremely expensive and shipping records up here isn't cheap either). Still, Yu has it worse than all of us so I can't complain too much.
murakami
add another count to the space issue not that this is a really new or original point, but also the 'hipster' tax that has been imposed the last few years as records shifted from being an alternative medium of listening to music to the "in" thing to collect. now records that i would have for sure bought in the 10-13$ range are going for up to 18$ and its eating into the overall budget and limiting what i can purchase. celebdeath
international shipping. costs as much as the record itself. coupled with shit exchange rates, this makes collecting so goddamn expensive and it pretty much rules out trading between folks. totally rules out collecting variants - or even getting half of the ones yer after. phantommaggot
Flippers that buy up shit they don't want to make an extra buck and take away from the people who actually want it.

Just Another Tom
Cost of shipping definitely. Space isn't and issue...yet. I also hate the urgency of pre-orders months ahead of the release day. However all of this i can put up with, because technically it's my choice. The thing i hate more than anything else is receiving a well packed parcel the the post office has still managed to fuck up. When it says fragile, it means the corners to!
