i work for the department of revenue in the office of chief counsel. officially, i am a 'clerk typist 2', but really, i'm a legal secretary. they just don't want to pay me the salary of a legal secretary.

i also do wedding photography and i have a couple weddings booked for the summer. hopefully i can do that fulltime within the year or so.

Government contractor. I work for the Marine Corps and travel around 200 days a year to training exercises all over the place. It can be fun and also very grueling (sometimes working 24 hours straight or covering hundreds of miles of training ground). It's pretty rewarding though, we (6 of us) train Radio Battallions and special forces guys from the crawl stage right up to the deployment.

I work at a computer sales company. Officially I am a "Bid Support Specialist" but really, I'm a legal secretary. they just don't want to pay me the salary of a legal secretary.

...combined with data entry. I basically review sales contracts and complete them, get them signed by important people and mail them to customers, so the account managers can spend more time making more money.

...and Matt Flood is my boss.

i am a parts tech for thomas built buses, dodge sprinters, american lafrance firetrucks, and odd ball freightliner vehicles. translation: i sit in a small office with one other guy who loves nu-metal to much and look up parts, keep up with inventory and accounting, and handle warranty for new specialty vehicles. i dont get paid nearly as much as any other parts guys at this company. the only reason i believe i still have a job here is because i am good at what i do and no one else at this company know where to begin when it come to the vehicles i deal with. its all right though, i like my service department and all the techs i take care of. im salary so i dont work more than eight hours a day and i get a bonus based on my net sales once a month. plus i get to hang out on the internetz all day.
