cactusbot
Does it sound good? I was waiting to order until someone got their copy.
manicdogbert
it definitely sounds good. better than the original issue. but i suspect it was mastered from the CD because the tracklisting is the same as the CD. (the original pressing rearranged the tracklisting from the CD) between the different CD pressings and the 2 vinyl pressings, i have WAY too many copies of this album. silentgods
got this a few weeks ago. sounds killer. hope for some more re-press action. Lazer guided melodies would be pretty awesome.
ExtraFox
Does anyone know which version of 'Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space' this uses?
paynegretzky
Does anyone know which version of 'Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space' this uses? If you're talking about the repress, it's the same as the CD. Nothing is moved around and the mixes are the same. I have the Plain Recordings press from 2010 ExtraFox
timsimmons
I wished they did a proper version of this when the Cd reissue came out.
AlexH.
Where did you order it from? The post you are quoting is from 2010.
monsterrod
It's been over a year since Bastard Samurai's last post. Bummer. somethingvinyl
Waters
Not to keep beating an old thread, but someone asked if this reissue was any different- the plain recording reissue is a little different in that it has the original version of the song Ladies and Gentlemen, with the Elvis "Can't help falling in love" lyrics that were originally removed on the old cd release. Not a huge difference, but a slightly different version anyway. ExtraFox
birdwell
If you're having trouble finding this repress ask your local brick and Morter to order it from CIMS, I know we have a box or so left at the warehouse
