drabley
Must be paying those hipster sluts too much to model their shitty shirts.
kirbypuckett
People get up in arms about this company so much. I just like their shirts. If they go out of business hopefully I can snatch up some stuff on clearance haha.

thesupervillain
Must be paying those hipster sluts too much to model their shitty shirts. Those hipster sluts were the only thing I liked about American Apparel. Well, that isn't true. A friend of mine gave me a pullover hoodie of theirs. It's okay I guess. xjustinxschwierx
so the world will have less weird/creepy pedophile advertisements, yay! also, how do you go out of business when you charge so much money for everything?
mclz
Most of my shirts are made by these guys:
stoiker
My best fitting shirts are from AA. And I like their zip hoodies.
thedavidescapeplan
My best fitting shirts are from AA. And I like their zip hoodies. This. If they go under I'm going to try and get as much stuff as I can on clearance.
tattoosdonthurt
Ya know, I read this a few months ago, and I thought it was on here, but I guess not. Not the same article, obviously. But very similar.

Not to mention, their Canvas line for men, fits like real clothes. Not like only for thin people clothes.
jcamps
can't wait for clearance, i've never bought anything there but sure would if the price plummeted
sharkticon
you guys should look up some of the AA articles on Consumerist. This isn't any sort of surprise to anyone following along with Dov and his shitty business decisions.
adamlikesmusic
Ya know, I read this a few months ago, and I thought it was on here, but I guess not. Not the same article, obviously. But very similar. I saw it on another board some time ago, so that could've been. I don't care much. If American Apparel shirts were no longer used, I'd be stoked, but I'm sure if it did come to bankruptcy, the brand would get purchased by someone and still live on. Their shirts are comfortable, but beyond inconsistent. I have some that fit like dresses, and others that barely come down to my belt. thousandjulys
all the silly marketing aside, i love me some AA track shirts. that is all.
goraiders
There's been an outcry over the underage-looking girls that appear in provocative poses in American Apparel's ads. Charney once referred to his models as "sluts" and then defended himself by declaring "Some of us love sluts." thats the best thing i've ever heard
xthomasx
This kind of sucks. AA shirts are the only ones I have found that fit me properly.
tylerrr
Just buy Mossimo shirts from target. They're pretty much identical and half the price.
