sharkticon
Deftones are doing a signing at Music Millennium in PDX on RSD: Saturday, 4/16 - 2 PM to 3 PMStarting at 8 AM, the first 100 customers to purchase Deftones' limited RSD vinyl release, Covers, will get a wristband guaranteeing a place in line for the signing! (while supplies last/time permitting/limit one per person) As kids, the Sacramento fivesome cut its teeth on Anthrax and The Smiths, Pantera and The Cure, skateboarding and "The Smurfs." As a band out of high school, Deftones mixed trip hop with thrash, melodic vocals with crushing reverb, and pretty with ugly. As chart-toppers and headliners, they've crossed over genres, and defied categorization. To commemorate Record Store Day, Deftones will be releasing a special edition Covers LP. This LP is a collection of classic Deftones cover tracks, pressed together on limited edition vinyl for the first time ever. The set spans a wide range of genres, including covers from artists The Cure, Drive Like Jehu, The Cars, The Smiths, Lynyrd Skynrd and Duran Duran. jimmyg
All I really want is the DOM 7'' and the Mazes 12'' version of the compilation tape they put out last year (which I fear I won't get and thus fucking up my perfect Mazes collection!) SweetJerryWine
<333 Haha. I'll do what I can. Will post on RSD if I was able to get any at all. I'm in the earliest time zone for North America so I should be back before a lot of people even head out.
rkfoster8
All I really want is BTBAM's EP. I know for a fact that the guy closest to where I live will be getting a shipment so I'm pretty stoked about that. Not sure if I want much else, but we'll see. It never ends up me just buying one record...
