andrewlucas
Is that just me? I listened to that CD for the first time in a while today. Its pretty good. Theres alot of catchy stuff. Different from What It Is To Burn, but in a good way.

andrewlucas
What It Is To Burn is a total different style in my opinion. Say Hello To Sunshine is... darker... i guess. Thats what I like about it compared to WIITB. WIITB is good if you want some sort of happy songs.

Japes
I'd love a proper repress of What It Is to Burn. I love that album and I was so pissed when I found out the title track wasn't on the vinyl release. You can hear it at the end of the 4th side for like, 5 seconds. Then it cuts off. astrangerwithcandy
Not trying to be a dick but how many of these types of threads are going to pop up? Is anyone actually going to press any of the albums that keep popping up?
kjkenney
I have never heard this album. I really like What It Is To Burn, but I have this weird thing about bands and I'm afraid that the sophomore slump is just going to ruin my views on them. I did this with Northstar and put off listening to Pollyanna for about 4 years because I thought Is This Thing Loaded was my holy grail of an album, but I digress. I should prob check this album out someday... and no I don't think these threads will ever do anything, except that Sum 41 thread where the OP is pretty much dedicating his life to getting that stuff pressed it sounds *shrug* and more power to him. I would still rather read some of these than threads about Devil Wears Prada's new album or whatever. On that note....Whens the super fucking awesome turbolimited edition of Design the Skyline's new album getting pressed???? AMIRITE?!

Shitty Rambo
YES! Easily the best album Finch has. This album separated the men from the boys and is a prime example of nostalgia retarding progress. firefoxUSSR
firefoxUSSR
Thank you! This needs to be made. The Finch EP too.
andrewlucas
i think maybe voting should be left for fans of finch. otherwise it just makes the voting useless. if you dont like finch then of course you wouldnt buy the vinyl. but if you do like finch and still wouldnt buy it, those are the people id like to hear from. Japes
Well, I loved What It Is to Burn, and I voted no. Why? Because I really just didn't like that album. Would rather see WIITB repressed properly.
ifworkpermits
exactly what everyone else is saying. Its hard enough to get a hand on a copy of WIITB, and then when you do, the title track is not even on it! A proper repress is definitely in order before SHTS should be pressed... mcpherson123
SHTS is the sophomore "blow your first album away and all but forget about it" album. Easily superior to any of their other work. This NEEDS to be pressed on translucent yellow vinyl. Stat! I can live without a vinyl copy of WIITB but I CAN'T live without one of Sunshine. Its like they took all the heaviest and best elements of Faith No More and Glassjaw and spinkled on a dash of classic Dillinger Escape Plan ("The Casket Of Roderick Usher") and made one of the best heavy albums of 2005. How does this have 31 "No" votes?

mcpherson123
Its easily their best album. Obviously just an opinion but damn. How can anyone deny the fucking mastery and excellence? I admit, the middle most section gets a bit weak on song merit but even the weakest tracks on the this album are better than the best on WIITB, imo.
