Shitty Rambo
Link to article - http://tinyurl.com/4xueu6l In a new interview, Fat Mike mentioned that NOFX will soon be releasing an unearthed seven-inch recorded back in 1984. Mike charitably describes the recording as "fucking terrible." He goes on to explain: You know what's coming out later this year, which should be interesting, is we're going to release our first EP that was never released. [it's] an eight-song seven-inch that was so bad we decided not to release it. It's called the Thalidomide Child EP. I'm not sure when it will be out but it will be out. I think it's going to come in a seven-inch box set but we'll see... Thoughts, opinions?
100resolutions
It will be fun to hear one time but i'm pretty sure it sucks hard. i'll buy it though cuz i'm a huge NOFX fan.

youspinmeround
NOFX really is just a cash cow They havent released anything of any respectable quality since the decline
Shitty Rambo
I wonder what else would be in included in this boxset. If it's things I already own I would pass. This seems like it would be cool to listen to once via mp3 and than toss it into storage. This may or not be it - http://pankerijada.blogspot.com/2010/01/nofx-rare-demo-tape1984.html

gabpower
It will probably be awful and $6 if it's a single 7".
jonnywreck
What if it's like every other bands' "least favorite" album and it's actually awesome and different than anything they've ever done? i.e.- Face to Face "Ignorance is Bliss"

almightyseancore
NOFX really is just a cash cowThey havent released anything of any respectable quality since the decline Not true at all. i'm going to have to agree with mr. spinmeround on this one. pump up the valium and everything after was absolute bullshit. keep in mind this is just opinion. and your opinion, is also opinion. so long and thanks for all the shoes was their last decent album, and the decline was only afew beats short of a masterpiece. travis
Ive really loved every NOFX full-length since the Decline. The only album of theirs I dont really like is Liberal Animation. They are also my all time favorite band so yea...
flood
LA is a lil raw, but i like it... the albums before that were kinda shitty.... but i pretty much at least like every other record they've done.... and for the most part love them
GradedOnACurve
Their last two full lengths were awful. They are however still a good EP band. 4 songs at a time please.
MattyIceyo
Wolves wasnt that awesome because alot of the songs had already come out in that 7inch thing they did, minus some reworkings, but I would agree with Travis and Flood that they have still put out good albums since decline
flood
wolves was made great simply by the opening and closing tracks basicaly stating they don't give a fuck. Coaster was probably my least favorite of all of their records tho.
mclz
I thought WIWC was "eh" basically because 1/2 was fillers and re-recorded tracks, but I did think the 7" right before were great. I thought Coasters/Frisbee was better than WIWC, but not up there either.
burntwolf
i think everything they've done has been in the B+/B- range for the era it came out compared to their contemporaries. usually solid and enjoyable but nothing extraordinarily awesome. growing up in the late 80s/early 90s, these guys always seemed to be the one punk band the jock/frat boys would love... mxv
That band totally jumped the shark after "Liberal Animation" They really peaked at the Mystic album. Everything else that came out after those were alright, but not as special.
RustyShackelford
youre wrong, sorry. the only thing good that Fat Mike has ever put out was his 7 inch with False Alarm. anything NOFX related after that is just poser bullshit

bowserhound
Heavy Petting Zoo was fucking brilliant. I also could not have gotten through high school keg parties without S&M Airlines and Ribbed.
