I did quite a bit of research about a year ago before I bought some of these. They sound great but have gone up in price about 30 bucks since I bought them. Still worth it.

We have two pairs of these and they're great. Really crisp and clear bass that hits all the great lows while the treble is near perfectly balanced and doesn't get that tinniness that a lot of headphones get. Definitely solid.

Skullcandy is shit.

Sony mdr-v6. you'll find them in pretty much every recording studio. they have been around a long time, they will last a long time. they are comfortable and they sound good. nuff said.

i totally prefer these $18 sennheiser headphones over my $225 nixon master blasters for $150 sony studio headphones. they sound better then my friend's dr. dre beat$ too.
