kylebutcher5
If they really want to start things right, and they have more problems than usual with 14 and 15, they should do a repress. Seems greedy to me - take a loss or break even on this if you have to in order to keep return customers happy. Rules are rules and all that. I’m obviously negligent on this ‘cause I often don’t even check a seller’s return policy until I have a problem. And Third Man has a really tight (I would say unreasonable) policy. I must get too many records – my partner would certainly say I get too many records – and sometimes it takes me ages to listen to something. So I’ll see if I can repair this (it has a big dip in it, as opposed to a warp, and my Project can’t handle it) and in the meantime save myself $260 a year. But Master Jack White doesn't know how to repress. Master Jack White is perfect.
kas1985
Anyone who has received their Gatsby gold and platinum set tried to actually put the records into the wooden enclosure? I'm not sure they will fit and if they do fit, I don't know how you would ever get them out without scratching the hell out of them. Any tips would be appreciated. iron666monkey
Went to the Third Man store today. It was kinda cool but I didn't buy anything. I think they should carry more than Third Man releases. They did have the new vault pack on the wall. Looks pretty nice.

iron666monkey
Why does Old Navy only sell Old Navy clothes? Because their clothes suck and nobody else wants to sell them.
kylebutcher5
Because their clothes suck and nobody else wants to sell them. Hahahaha I understand the joke, but these aren't shitty experimental lathe cuts, Blunderbuss was the best-selling record last year.

Guest Secular Haze
Are they doing any surprise colors for these? Thanks.
dreamover
Are they doing any surprise colors for these? Thanks. Very doubtful. In very rare circumstances for smaller bands that weren't necessarily at capacity they'll send out a few of the overrun, but these are three of the biggest live at TMR releases yet, so expect black vinyl only. That being said, I have an extra Shins coming my way that I'm hoping to trade for a Kills B&B.

kas1985
Anyone know how many of theses will be pressed? The black and blue version of these records are limited to the number of people who attended the live performance at Third Man and pre-ordered a copy, usually about 300. These obviously are out of the reach of most people. The pre-order mentioned here is for standard black and are pressed in perpetuity. Or, as Third Man states, are "unlimited".
