Shitty Rambo
Like many bands from Kung-Fu, I imagine they never had proper vinyl releases no? And if I am correct, Enjoy The Ride or Travis need to get all over this because not having these albums on vinyl is a goddamn travesty. I don't know if Joe Escalante holds onto licensing rights like mofo.
ilikeguitars
I would purchase both these in a flash without a second thought. Both albums are so damn good and i dont think many people appreciated them as much as they deserved.
IanRees
ha damn, i used to love Audio Karate. Can we get a Larger Than Life pressing too?
thebear
I'd buy up both those so fast. Lady Melody is such a great album.
donlombardo
I've never looked into much of the Kung Fu records rooster. should I?
donlombardo
And an ataris album was licensed wasn't it? so it might not be impossible.
chiefwahoo
I'd love to have Lady Melody on vinyl. Would probably buy the other one as well but it's not a must have for me.
mcm1610
For some reason the only Audio Karate song I ever really listened to was "Jesus Is Alive and Well (And Living In Mexico)"
somethingvinyl
Never heard this band. This is really good.
Shitty Rambo
I'd imagine at the least a label would be interested in pressing Indian School's EP. It's 80% Audio Karate!
scottheisel
Working on Indian School.

rtw88
For some reason the only Audio Karate song I ever really listened to was "Jesus Is Alive and Well (And Living In Mexico)" Same here, until a couple years ago when I decided to check out the full album that song was on. I assume that mp3 on my computer was an artifact of the Purevolume era.

actiondan
lady melody is one of my favorite albums, besides that record i know nothing else about audio karate. how many other albums do they have?
thebear
Space Camp, from 2002, and Audio Karate (EP) from 2001. Some of the same songs end up on both of those. They've also got a track on a comp called 'She Looks Good' from the Lady Melody sessions (that someone needs to add onto Lady Melody or issue as a 7" if they ever press it). I have this album playing right now and sonofabitch, I would buy SC and LM in a split fucking second. These albums never get old. Enjoy The Ride could make it happen, we just gotta let 'em know! chiefwahoo
+1 just for saying this. Rosemead, California indie rockers Indian School have signed with LA based indie Animal Style Records which will reissue the band’s self-released debut digitally and on vinyl with all-new cover art and a new bonus track on September 25, 2012. Pre-orders will launch shortly at www.animalstylerecords.com. YES!!
