dreamover
Although, I think people will pay for this, this is a record I can live without, but I would be tempted to buy it if it were $15ish.
sjb2k1
just spent $20 each on TEN and Rufio. holding off on this one for now.
cactusbot
I will back everyone's sentiments that $20 is retarded. I love this record but I will not pay that much for it. The fact that a bunch of you buying records knowing that it is overpriced is exactly why labels keep doing it. Do you not understand that? Exactly, at $15 I would have purchased without hesitation but at $20 I just can justify it because I don't love it THAT much

cactusbot
Apparently a friend of Dave from Mae who works at T&N is doing this. It's weird they don't even have contact info on their site.
diabretic
God damn it is so hard for me not to pull the trigger on this. I'm gonna hold out because I am going to spend way too much on Rsd.
tokimedo
you can only buy one of each variant, so thats good, hopefully flippers wont eat this up and it will stick around for a while. i want that swirl so bad but its too fucking expensive. steviex2shoes
I will back everyone's sentiments that $20 is retarded.I love this record but I will not pay that much for it. The fact that a bunch of you buying records knowing that it is overpriced is exactly why labels keep doing it. Do you not understand that? Normally I'd stay away from something priced so I high, but because I have such a love for this album I just can't overlook it considering this is the only way to get it as of right now. The only way to get it cheaper would be if they ever offered a discount code or there was a distro that copies and sold them cheaper. Its really just a Catch 22 if you don't buy it you don't own, but if you buy you own it but the next record this label puts out will just be the same price instead of more reasonable like your records. Like I said normally I wouldn't pay for it, but since this is the only possible way for it and a record that I really love I'm pulling the trigger on it, and I'm sorry for perpetuating the higher vinyl prices because of this. thousandjulys
this is really hard to say no to. i lived in norfolk and was a fan of these guys from the get go. i don't really listen to it that much any more but i still definitely enjoy it. $30ppd for a single LP is insane. i'd like to own it but i don't think i can pull the trigger on that. jonnystorm777
Hmmm i may have to pick this up.
steviex2shoes
Hopefully you can offer it to people a bit cheaper than the label is directly from them, so that more people would be willing to pick up this great album.

cactusbot
Hey Brent, The first pressing is strictly online only. For future pressings, we may offer exclusive variants to specific retailers - but we're focusing on the first pressing for now. Thanks for your interest! cactusbot
Oh well! I tried. I told him I would absolutely be down for an exclusive variant of the next press. We'll see what happens.
tokimedo
thanks for trying, but they dont make much sense with a response. i guess they meant, online to their store only?
cactusbot
Yeah. That's how I understood it. Online only, through their web store.
