They know Virgil has ripped off tons of folks so what do they do? Give him a fat distro deal. Enabling the worst of our community drags you down with them. I stuck with them until they started shielding MTS from their obligations. Taking on his Blink releases so that the people he's fucked with can't use their 50% off coupons was one of the scummiest moves I've seen in a while. I've been vocal about this but they'll do anything for a buck regardless of who they help enable to fuck with the fans and community. He has the best online store in the world. I can understand the retaliatory aspect from a survival/business aspect but still, that's crap. I loved that thread. I'm at least glad I found out about IVWT through this board and will continue to follow it through Facebook and any other social media outlet. I also wonder what exactly he means by "a questionable order." I kind of get the insinuation but I'm not sure why he would necessarily go to the lengths of cancelling an order like that. His stuff is not going be promoted here any more and that is that. Reason being. There is a title we are done with and no longer carrying - Thursday Waiting. Three guys in the warehouse wanted a copy and I told them no cause we only have enough to fill orders. Told them to find it elsewhere and Danny would buy it for them/ship it to us. They found it at IVWT. He refused to sell to us and gave attitude. We often buy records from various other companies. I buy from Interpunk often for stuff that I personally like and we do not carry. It is very childish to not let someone buy because you for some reason don't like their company. So all in all if he is not going to let our staff buy he or his store is no longer going to promoted on here. We put a lot of time into managing and maintaining this board for everyone. I get that. And I wouldn't want to let that happen either but I wonder what I would do in that situation. The more I consider it the more I think I would have done the same as IVWT.
