xadamhudsonx Posted July 27, 2012 Share Posted July 27, 2012 This is the response from Banquet regarding the Euro press: "the LP was sold into us as a Euro pressing and listed in good faith as such. as far as we're aware it still is, but the two LPs are apparently identical in colour etc. unfortunately the UK label have given next to no information about the LP, so we don't have any more information beyond what's on the website until the stock arrives. we'll update as soon as we know more." I think that means there's gonna be some delay in these showing up to retail which sucks... These have been pulled by Universal and you can no longer order but I was not told about any defects. I was told that after the band took tour copies and they fulfilled all orders there are none left. Someone mentioned here they pressed 10,000 and that it would probably never sell out. If that number is right and judging by our sales it is very possible these are sold out after the band took their copies. It is insane but great to hear! We put a little note in our newsletter about this yesterday as well. I ordered enough to hopefully have a 200+ after release date but we seriously only have about 10 or 20 copies left. Also, I listened to the lp and it had no issues. I agree, every listen I find more character in the songs. Conversely, I can also see why people would have issues with repeating themes.
