museummouth
The RSD stuff is now up on their site. There's a bundle for 70 euros which with shipping comes to about $120 for all 4. Not bad. Does anyone know if the RSD titles are the tip-on jackets like Room 237 and New York Ripper?
ratbrain
Does anyone know if the RSD titles are the tip-on jackets like Room 237 and New York Ripper? I've only got "In the Wall" so far but it's just a standard weight single-pocket jacket.
Whip Wilson
Does anyone know if the RSD titles are the tip-on jackets like Room 237 and New York Ripper? They are not. They are regular LP material, but on the wider side for a single LP as they have the artwork, etc. comfortably stores inside.

ratbrain
Jinx. Okay first off, I believe I owe you this: Second, I got "Emanuelle" and "Bronx Warriors" in the mail today and both are really great. With all of Death Waltz's fancy packaging and wacky colored vinyl, I think it sometimes goes unnoticed just how awesome their releases sound. They pay more attention to sound quality than a lot of the big reissue labels and it totally shows in the finished product.
Whip Wilson
Refreshing! You're spot on about the fidelity of their records, of course. It is sterling. Very excited to receive the last bundle from Sub3. Along with Slumber Party Massacre and various prints and bags and swag, is supposed to be a flexi-disc of Fabio Frizzi's live show in London last year where he performed his favorite tracks from his Fulci scores. Should be sweet as a sucker.
ratbrain
Got the last missing piece in the mail today. I think they're all US versions but can't really tell from the pics on Discogs.
andi
In the Wall looks nice. I hate these sleeves.
Whip Wilson
Yeah, Discogs editors blew this one, RB. Those are identical to mine and I definitely have the USA versions. I wish that the Emmanuelle was closer to the original mock-ups (which, as of yesterday, were pictured on discogs) and a little less like Bronx Warriors, but I can't really compiling too much. They sound great. Plus, I got them for $25 a pop, so they could all be identical and I would be happy.

albert
Why does it have to cost that much.
andi
It looks so awesome. Have.To.Resist. Damnit!!!
casinonightzone
Why does it have to cost that much. Because the quality of packaging and vinyl from Death Waltz is better than most labels that are pressing vinyl. Also, because shipping is from England. +hecollec+or
Every one is pretty much like The Fog now. Very heavy duty. Assault on P13, NY Ripper, Ms 45, Forbidden World... all in sleeves that are pretty much unrivaled in terms of quality these days. Thick & durable. & look great. ratbrain
Standard issue single LP on the left, Room 237 from Death Waltz on the right. The oversized DW jackets are tip-ons with super heavy stock and "pads" at the top and bottom that make them basically un-seam-splittable. They're incredible.
