chiefwahoo
I only recently heard the self-titled and I really like it. How does it compare to Utopia?
bgdesign
Both are great albums. I prefer S/T for songs like Radiation Vibe, Sick Day, and Leave the Biker. Utopia Parkway is a great second album though. FOW has to be taken as band with great story songs. They are simple, fun songs. These are must buys for me. scottheisel
"Leave The Biker" is a perfect song. Absolutely perfect. bgdesign

forgeagain
Wow, I was just thinking about this yesterday while listening to Out Of State Plates. Where there is money, there will be reissues. Good stuff. I'm pretty sure Utopia was actually never released on vinyl though. Just the S/T and the most recent album.
timpopkid
These records went for sale on Amazon last year as preorders as well. Then the release date came and nothing ever came out. Until I see them on a label's website, I don't trust it. Why would there be no mention of these on Yep Roc's site 3 week's before the release date. I really hope these are coming out, but confidence is not high. Also, Utopia was definitely not released on vinyl previously.
plasma36
I would buy Welcome Interstate Managers at the right price.
newdaverising
The s/t is on Yep Roc's site (although a bit hidden): http://store.yeproc.com/album.php?id=15856 also on their distributor's site: http://www.redeyeusa.com/artist/14519/albums/LP-YEP-2261/
crapforgenius
*SQUEE* I've got an original of the self-titled but have always been annoyed that 'Utopia Parkway' and 'Welcome Interstate Managers' were never pressed. Halfway there. ('Traffic & Weather' can suck it, but I'd still totally buy it for completeness sake.)
timpopkid
The s/t is on Yep Roc's site (although a bit hidden): http://store.yeproc....um.php?id=15856 also on their distributor's site: http://www.redeyeusa...ms/LP-YEP-2261/ That's great news. Hopefully they will be on my turntable soon. I found Utopia on their site too: http://store.yeproc.com/album.php?id=15855
crapforgenius
Insound has them for preorder at $19.99 each as well. http://www.insound.com/search/?query=fountains+of+wayne Looks like no digital download codes for these but I imagine anyone buying them has them digitally already. bgdesign
I just got a shipping notice for S/T, my Utopia Parkway was canceled. Amazon is shady lately.
