hudsoncomplex
Hey guys I'm currently in the market for a pair of leather boots for everyday wear. I like the look of the "welington" style. Any one own boots that may be able to shed some light as to what to look for? Any info in appreciated. Thanks!
anchorclose
I bought a pair of these from J&M last year and wear them all the time. They're great for casual or dress attire. I just did a quick search, you could probably find them cheaper. I got them for a little under $100 straight from J&M last year. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-JOHNSTON-MURPHY-HEADLEY-GORE-BROWN-MENS-BOOT-/280663488711

hudsoncomplex
Thanks Ry. I really dig to motorcycle boot look. Clarks has a few that look like that. I haven't bought a pair of boots since the Docs I bought when I was

partysmasher
I got a pair of Red Wing 875's about six months ago, they're pretty expensive but from what i've heard and been told, they'll probably last the rest of my life if i take care of them. They look great, too. You get what you pay for when it comes to boots for sure and i can't recommend Red Wing enough! zeekanchors

I'm thinking about getting a pair myself. http://www.clarksusa.com/eng/product/bromley_tall_boot/63252

partysmasher
I've heard amazing things about Red Wing's too. They're pretty timeless looking as well. Couldn't agree more, they look great with anything, mine are quite light so not so good as a smarter option but you can't beat them with jeans. They're quite hard to buy in person in europe but luckily the one "official" Red Wing shop in London is 2 mins walk from my work so i was able to pick from the full range of sizes in that style. They still tore my feet to shreds for a month, though, but i guess that's what you get for wearing vans all your life. hudsoncomplex
kyleevanswastaken
Fuck dude, I was in the same boat, Had the same pair of docs since 16 and they were toast last spring so what did I do? Bought a new pair of docks, they feel cheaper and arent made in the UK but if they last half as long as my last pair I will be happy. ifworkpermits
Hipster... You are quickly becoming my favorite person. That signature is amazing. =] And as far as this thread goes, all I wear are boots... but mine are very stylized. Pointed black beetle boots and studded combat boots on my end.
