yocaseycasey
Look at me, starting all these threads today. So what are you getting your lady (or dude) for Christmas this year? This is my first Christmas as a married man, so I definitely need to set the bar high. Or maybe I'm doing it wrong. However, I know Emmy is going to SHIT when she opens her present. I ended up getting our favorite artist (Derek Nobbs; he is the one responsible for the recent tattoo I have; original artist, not tattoo artist) to create a custom piece for Emily. His work is SICK. Everyone should go check him out: http://www.dereknobbs.com/ So what are you getting for your lovely this year?

Emo Revival
I'm going all over the map, I got her an ice cream maker cause she really wanted one, a few Modest Mouse prints since they're her favorite band, and some nice earrings. So i've got jewelry, appliances, and art covered haha.
withengineheart
I've been not so secretly been knitting a scarf. Probably need to come up with something else.. socks maybe. I'll probably end up finding something cool with a bird or a deer on it. Girls really like birds, deer and owls for some reason. Oh, and vintage looking clocks and stuff. Guest
don't have an S/O, but for the past 3 years I've gotten all my close friends a mug with a photo of my (drunk) face on it. will be doing the same this year.

yocaseycasey
As a matter of fact, we should pull an Office moment and make mugs with photos of ourselves on them and send them to our favorite board members. I would love some fun coffee mugs.
scottheisel
The wife lurks the board, so I don't think I can contribute to this thread. But I have some good stuff up my sleeve, for sure.
adamlikesmusic
Haven't quite nailed it yet. We agreed on $10 limits, so I'll probably end up blowing $20 as to not be outdone.

cesar11
been single for 2 years now but there's a lady that I've been talking to and hanging out with a lot for a few months. We're both baseball nuts so I'm getting her a custom made Dodgers jersey with her last name and Birthday number. Even better is that she's small. Youth sizes = Cheaper Price. Zick
My girlfriend's birthday is 2 weeks before Christmas so that's a bummer on my wallet. Got her a case and all kinds of other stuff for her new Macbook for her birthday. So far I have a Daryl Dixon T-shirt I picked up from Hot Topic and no other leads as to what to get her for Christmas. Everything she wants is either too expensive or her mom is buying it for her. littlebistro
Me and my wife usually spend about $200 on each other for Xmas.. This year we're buying $400 in Disney gift cards so we have an excuse to go.
ronniegwilliams
I want one. I was going to say the exact same thing. Can I get a set of four?
ronniegwilliams
I think I'll buy her a nice watch. Get it? Because I'm single and my girlfriend is my hand, cue stage laughter sign. Currently talking to a gal, but it's still pretty new. If we last til Christmas I'll probably do something cheesy and sentimental. RadDonut
I'm about to buy my wife some new pots and pans (cheesy I know) but they can get pretty pricey $299 for a "good" set.
Guest
my ex had an electric starter installed in my car a few Christmases ago. it was the best present. Michigan winters can be brutal.
