Rutger \r(u)-tger, rut-ger\ as a name for boys is of Old German derivation, and the name Rutger means "famous spearman". Rutger is a variant of Roger (Old German): popular in the Middle Ages and the 19th and 20th centuries. I have to go to the framing store and get mattes and install all the the hardware on the frames. And then I do the redeye to NJ tonight through LA. It's going to be a long day.
