radiatorhums
Whoa that's awesome, Jon. I'm jealous haha. I'm pretty excited. The trip is only a few months away, so it should be here before I know it.

I'll try and get as many photos as I can. I'm normally bad at doing so, but I'm going to try and make an effort. I'll post a link to whatever I come back with photo-wise. I think that NYC on steroids description is pretty accurate!

hobbesthecat
Hike time with the gf and our 100lb puppy Even though it's only 37 degrees out it feels like summer considering the crap winter we've had so far
radiatorhums
Even though it's only 37 degrees out it feels like summer considering the crap winter we've had so far I know what you mean, it's been mid-40s and sunny the last few days and I've been acting like it's spring. My dog has gotten some much needed longer walks.

My dog has gotten some much needed longer walks. We finally bought the "chucker" to launch tennis balls for the pup (Shepard, husky mix) I hear ya about the needed walks. I try to walk him everyday, but even a 45 min walk IMO doesn't Match up to him being inside all day while we're at work
Youinreverse
Do it or you're an idiot. Have you heard if they're releasing a new record this year? I know they scrapped the entire album that they were working on. After thinking about it all night, I think I'm going to be an idiot and skip it. It would take around $100 in gas, plus the $30 ticket. That money could go towards a lot more important things right now. :/ They come here a ton (three times last year) so I bet I'll hear the new songs later on sometime this year. Hopefully they come out with their new album this year. I read an interview last year and Doug said they had a few songs recorded, and that a new album would probably be a couple years out.
