xxmartinxx Posted May 4, 2013 Share Posted May 4, 2013 When I got into punk in 1987, much of hardcore was in the throws of "crossing over" to metal. A lot of people, having grown up listening to metal, were cool with that. I grew up listening to hip hop and I didn't like metal, so I wasn't a fan. Going forward, when I heard the Judge LP when it was released I thought, "Wow... this is just straight up metal". Fast forward a few more years. A guy I knew from high school is in a band called Earth Crisis, so I gave them a listen. "Wow," I thought, "this is more metal than metal!" We've got a 7" coming out late summer, LP coming out in September.
