Just ordered a U-Turn Orbit (Finally) Green, Then grabbed a Marantz PM6005 for $450 on an amazon warehouse deal and a pair of Klipsch RB-61 II for $350 total for everything was about $1200 shipped, not a bad deal if I may say so myself. When I went to check it out, there was some crackling and one of the channels was cutting in and out so we went down to $150. Turns out the balance pot just needed to be cleaned. I'm replacing a model 2015 and it's a decent step up. In my research the 1060 and 2270 are two of the two best-sounding models from their time period, but I'm no expert. allenh Posted May 19, 2015 Share Posted May 19, 2015 I picked up a Teac A-500 Amp, Teac PD-H500 and a pair of Tannoy Mercury MX2 speakers for next to nothing this weekend at a boot fair. All in immaculate condition with the books and remote control and I never expected any of it to work but it all works perfectly and I'm using it now.
