adamlikesmusic
My cd copy of 'Wrap Me Up In Plastic' is one of the coolest things I own just because of how rare it is. This is one of the first things I ever mailordered. I was 10 or 11 at the time, had to beg my parents to let me.
534N
I'm bouncing off the walls again! I'm looking like a fool again... I'm ok paying $20-$25 for this!

zacaroo21
Have we any more info on this? Is it still happening?
marc32137
Have we any more info on this? Is it still happening? I asked Marko on Twitter yesterday, but he hasn't responded yet.
enjoytheride
I asked Marko on Twitter yesterday, but he hasn't responded yet. I actually emailed marko about an update regarding this last week. I spoke to him around a year ago and he got in touch with the label who said they planned to do it soon but no immediate plans. A year later with no news, i figured i would reach out to him and see if we can work something out. I suggested a re-issue of this album which seems to have demo versions of some songs from "start static". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wrap_Me_Up_in_Plastic Waiting for a response from him and their management but If i can secure the rights & get the band behind it, would people be into it? marc32137
I would be. Would this be in addition to a Start Static release or would the label not license it out if they have (eventual) plans?
TFP
I actually emailed marko about an update regarding this last week. This would be awesome and I would be down for it, but a more detailed question would be: if you are doing the OG Wrap Me Up In Plastic why not also Eleven? But for a first Sugarcult release maybe a press of the newer "yellow guitar version" of Wrap Me Up In Plastic would be better because it features songs from both albums. Plus the 2nd press is mastered better on cd. The original 2 were verrry home made cdr's.
beardacus
So, I asked SRC if they would be interested in pressing Sugarcult. Just for curiosity, and because it's the end of April and nothing's come from the Sugarcult camp of the eventual release of Start Static. And this is what they said.. Honestly, I'd love to see SRC press their material. They'll actually get it pressed, and they always release quality releases.
marc32137
Marko favorited my tweet asking for an update, but never actually responded to it.

beardacus
I found out from a reply from Marko, on a friend's photo on Instagram, that he believe that the release is on track for a Fall/Winter release. So there's hope yet!
marc32137
The band just posted on Facebook that details are coming soon for limited Start Static pressing.

TFP
Man, I would LOOOOVE 'Lights Out' on vinyl. That album has a groove!
soundboard
I really wish they were pressing Palm Trees And Power Lines. I like both albums but I just think that one has held up a little better. This is still awesome news though. Side-note: I'm pushing for free digital downloads of Van Wilder with every vinyl purchase
zacaroo21
I'd be surprised if all 3 records didn't see a pressing.

sergeantscruffy
I hate white vinyl, but this album would look killer on white.
