cside
Perhaps this is the wrong place to post, but it's an ebay craziness/frustration thing. Does anyone know how to properly report someone on ebay for selling an item on ebay, refunding money, and then selling it again at a higher price? Or is this not against ebay policies? I tried reporting it to ebay, but technically it's not outside of ebay (avoiding fees) and ebay's customer service section is crap.I bought a BIN Movielife hoodie http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290656323403&ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:US:1123 and then got the following: "Someone offered me 35 bucks for that hoodie plus shipping and I'm really in need of the more money the better to pay my bills this month. Let me know what you think. Don't mean to sound like a dick, I'm sure I do, but I'm struggling right now. It also isn't letting me access my funds for some reason. Let me know what you think." Thanks, Rachael - rachaelhustlez I was "refunded" the money and then she resold it for $30 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290657503008 Leave negative feedback if you still can and move on
dejadevilgod
Bit the bullet, deal? yes? no? got tired of always losing auctions on this AND its sealed for 100$. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-Deja-E.... #ht_499wt_1416 The sealed doesnt matter to me though, just threw that in there because ive seen people use it as an excuse for it going for lots on the bay. But we all know it'll most likely be repressed for the 10 year like yfw.
mcpherson123
Anybody else like how AFS is cashing in on the "scarcity" of the super-high demand record they pressed? http://www.ebay.com/sch/afsrecords/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686

mcpherson123
Its still such a kick in the nuts since I know plenty of people who still want this and they shouldn't have to pay more than retail for it but especially not to the label itself. Could care less about TOYPAJ but it would be some shit if that were going on, all things considered.
Guest mbab
MTS is already doing it with TOYPAJ. they put up the remaining and refunded 180 gram copies for $60 when they cost $40 when the preorder first went up.
somethingvinyl
The Wonders promo 7" from That Thing You Do. I think this is another one of those "why didn't I buy that when it was cheaper" regrets.http://www.ebay.com/itm/290653043788 Is there a reason why this goes for so much? I found a copy for a $1 not a year or so ago. I love That Thing You Do. It's been my favorite movie since I saw it back in '96. I've wanted this for so long but refused to pay more than $5 for a novelty item I'm only buying to "just have". In my estimation, the movie is becoming a cult classic and people want things associated with it.

avery
it's funny how her ebay handle is "rachelhustlez". sounds like she does indeed hustle. that is frustrating, but ya, i'd move on and hope to find it for sale again by someone else. Derek™
I'm really in need of the more money the better to pay my bills this month. / I'm struggling right now. Absolutely understandable logic. When I bid on eBay, I'm always swimming in surplus cash and never have bills or financial responsibilities to take care of. I can't imagine what it'd be like to struggle or get by from paycheck to paycheck in this economy.
ksleap
Make up an email account, bid on all her items, win everything, dont pay, and do it again until you get bored.

Mellie got this when it first came out - her older sister worked at a movie theater when the film was released and got a copy of it for free and just gave it to her.
