Not sure anyone will admit to it, but I'm kinda willing to bet that those who keep having their orders insta-cancelled likely have 20+ open orders on their account for backordered items. I stopped having issues with the insta-cancel thing after I took a break and allowed the number of open orders I had to decrease significantly. This is all getting silly anyway... Yeah, this actually makes the most sense. I've never had anything auto-cancel and never have more than 7 or 8 orders at a time. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've heard possible solutions as: Order from home rather than work Order during the afternoon rather than the morning Order from a new account that you have been getting codes from None of these seems like real solutions... but who the hell knows. btelg Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 I've given up on trying to figure out why Best Buy insta-cancels sometimes and not others. I put in three orders today. 2 for backordered items, and then later one for a full-priced LP 1 backordered and the full price one insta-cancelled. The second backordered one didn't. You'd think they'd only cancel the backordered and accept the actual purchase OR cancel all three, not cancel one BO, keep one BO in the system, then cancel an in-stock item. Its mind boggling. So my thought now is that if I get some codes cancelled, so what? Its not like i'm losing anything. Just keep trying and it'll work sometimes, I guess. I used to do that, until I had a couple copies of the same record ship to me.
