tre
Here's how scatterbrained and bad at math I am... We've actually pressed 7309 copies of Roads To Judah. So yeah... not overkill. First Press: 300 - Cream / Black Split 700 - Cream / Black Mix 1000 - Cream Vinyl Second Press: 1300 - Clear Red Vinyl Third Press: 2009 - Cream w/ Black splatter Fourth Press: 2000 - Clear vinyl
Guest Secular Haze
That Cream / Black split /300 is looking pretty rare these days.

jbannon
Anyone remember when Jason Hervey did some commentary on a Clash of the Champions card on TBS? I do. He's no Gordon Solie. Note: May have been Halloween Havok, not sure. nothingnatural

"Elimination" was the first song I ever heard from them...and was blown away. Thank you Headbangers Ball!

jhulud
Uh...I've seen this guy's reviews before. Ok. I am bothered by his closing on saying that don't let preconceived notions and "genres you toss this LP into" and influences and trying to be, but yet that is ALL he has been going on and on about it prior to that! Ok dude.

Ok dude. Not mad. Can't say that I like this guy's reviews(I find his spastic style slightly annoying) but he did alright with this. -1 because thr reuse of the guitar sounds on the Pecan Tree was a stylistic choice and not a rehash as he perceived it to be. I think the "preconceived notions" bit was just a cliché closing statement he would probably take back now knowing how it conflicts with the bulk of his review. He should have just said "go into this with an open mind it's good music"

I'm thinking this. My ears treat them as bookends... and I do love me some bookends on a good album.
MisSigsFan
5000. I meant in the red and gold variant.
MisSigsFan
LOL. *wants record labels to exist and sell moderately priced records* *doesn't want record label to press enough copies to meet demand* I feel like it far surpasses demand.Shit, I say one thing and Mr. Run For Cover goes apeshit. All these different stores have that pressing in their distro. I doubt they're all going to sell their copies. Sure, Deafheaven is getting bigger, but not 5000 pressings bigger. MisSigsFan
Idk, considering AWLWLB only got 3000 more, Deafheaven getting that much just seems like a lot, especially considering how huge Converge is.

AWLWLB actually had twice as many, since a repress was put in before we even got the first 8000, but that's besides the point. The point is that we did not press too many. We pressed what we needed, and will be needing to repress shortly. BECAUSE WE ARE AWESOME. agreetodisagree, throwgncpr and deletedunknown
