brianmorgante
Anyone else see this? http://saddle-creek.com/news/2013/05/calling-all-cursive-fans/ If this is an album that means alot to you, they want you to send in a video telling a story about this album specifically, and if they end up using your clip, they'll give you a free copy of the repress. Pretty cool!
Capnzissou
This is awesome! Definitely going to do this. My all time favorite album/ one of my favorite bands
derby625
Damn, has it been ten years already? I remember hearing "art is hard" on a sxsw video hour mtv2 did. That's where I found them.
The Exquisite Death of NK
Yeah, great record. Very trans-formative for me as a young musician and music lover.
stuffsux00
awesome album! may pick this up for the extras. i had no idea it had been pressed so many times already. hopefully it's a new color.
almightyseancore
i remember buying this album on cd the day it came out, and listening to it at the greyhound station waiting on a bus to Philadelphia, and being disappointed that it wasn't as good as domestica. then i listened to it about 10 more times on the bus ride there, and was in love with it by the time i arrived. it's still not as good as their first 3 records in my opinion, but it marked a big change in their carrier, and a huge spike in their popularity, so i consider it really important. couldn't say i loved it enough to make a video about it, tho. if this was for domestica, you'd hear me rant and rave. alexschelldorf
xadamhudsonx
I will forever love this album. Specifically the last track, Staying Alive. Hearing it performed live is one of my all time favorite concert memories.
radiatorhums
I hope the bonus tracks consist of some previously unreleased material and not just b-sides from that era (Sinner's Serenade, Once, Adapt).
Shitty Rambo
Would rather pay for this than record myself awkwardly kissing a band's ass for something they did a decade ago. eshame
kjkenney
hahaha so true, Maybe Kasher feels left out of the hubbub since that Bright Eyes album went gold and he needs an ego boost? Kasher>Oberst any day of the week Shitty Rambo

isellblankets
I think the Good Life's - Album of the Year is also being repressed with this. It's Kasher-fest and everyone is invited. Shitty Rambo
radiatorhums
I'd be all over an Album of the Year repress, I think that's some of Tim's best work.
tsostarich
I bought Album Of The Year less than a year ago off of Amazon for like $10. I was shocked to find it at such a low price, but goddamn do I love that album. I still need to get The Ugly Organ.
gravitylovesdrunks
So many Kasher b-sides that need to be collected, and not just from Cursive.
BrainGilliams
It would be great to see a repress of the Good Life's "Blackout" album also. The majority that pop up on eBay go for entirely too much.
geezfools
I really haven't been THAT impressed with anything cursive has done since this album to be honest, I know I'll get shit for saying that, but oh well. Seeing them live for this tour was out of this world and still one of my top ten shows. Sucks they bailed on the cello and moved on.
radiatorhums
I really haven't been THAT impressed with anything cursive has done since this album to be honest. I agree with you there. I think the later albums have some decent tracks, but Ugly Organ is the last album they released that I like in it's entirety.
Shitty Rambo
Foolz be trippin', Happy Hollow is one of their best albums. Mama, I'm Swollen is great too. Do we have to rank every band's albums on a personal list these days? Seems like anyone who's not on Topshelf and has more than 4 albums out gets this treatment lately. PS: Gretta Cohn left on her own accord.

flood
someone needs to do the video spouting off on how the A-side of this record pretty much calls out every other band on saddle creek/that entire scene for faking the flava on the whole emotional white boy indie rock scene. that being said... such a great album.
