oojavaguru
To commemorate and celebrate the huge success of the TIM TIMEBOMB & FRIENDS project that Tim Armstrong (RANCID) launched last fall, Hellcat Records and Pirates Press Records have teamed up to start bringing some vinyl to the (turn)table. Starting off with this first series of three 7" singles to support the upcoming RANCID tour featuring lots of contributors on the TIM TIMEBOMB & FRIENDS masterpiece, these are no doubt just the start. With literally hundreds of tracks, and some pretty incredible artwork prepped and ready for them, you can only start to imagine the other cool & creative projects on the horizon. With an incredible effort like this, contributing one song to the world each day (via Youtube.com), the project certainly deserves some equally special treatment on vinyl. It's safe to say Hellcat Records and Pirates Press Records are the perfect team to make that a reality, and we see these three singles as a great kick-off!Loads of these are going to disappear across the merch table during the upcoming RANCID tour this Aug/Sept., but the rest are available exclusively via Rev Distribution & PiratesPressRecords.com. Pick up all three today, and keep an eye out for more! You can check out Tim Timebomb on YouTube! TIM TIMEBOMB & FRIENDS - "SHE'S DRUNK ALL THE TIME" A. She's Drunk All The Time B. shenanigans
I'll probably order these from revHQ eventually. I've had too many issues with Pirates Press in the last year.

Rioux
fucks sake, put out Poet's Life on vinyl already... I thought the same last weekend. Way better than those timebomb songs.
kyacrash
Agreed, I'm a huge Rancid fan, but most of the Timebomb songs blow.
IanRees
I enjoy the songs while I listen to his show on Faction but not sure if I'd listen to the 7"s much
mclz
Attn: Marc Haha already bought yesterday. Curious as to how many Tim will release since. There already about 300 tracks, but I know not everything will come out. I really hope the track with Jesse is released. gabpower

marc32137
I might be seeing Rancid in a couple weeks so I'll check and see what they have for sale there. Tim Timebomb is one of the openers, I think.

jvphotoandvideo
Tim needs to cut it out with the 7"s already.

mclz
Tim needs to cut it out with the 7"s already. I can understand people being upset with the Rancid boxset, but the entire idea for this Tim Timebomb series was they were all singles. The cover of the artwork on his site looks like beat up 45s and the youtube photo of the song is a scratched record. Him releasing these as 7"s makes perfect sense. Although I would mind if maybe once a month there was a 2xLP collection of all the tracks instead if he were persistent on releasing all these songs on vinyl, which I don't believe he will. gabpower
I agree with Marc on this. It would make more sense as 7 inches but I can only imagine how much would cost a 150 x 7" box. It's overkill in price and in space. Even pressed on full lenght LPs there would probably be like 40 of them...

hickey
There is absolutely no need to press all of the Tim Timebomb stuff. The vast majority is dreadful - especially the covers. Grab the handful (or fewer) of half-decent tunes and release it as an LP and release the tune with Jesse Michaels as a 7".
jase
That is horrible. I think even 16 year old me has had enough of rancid/Tim. He sounds like a stroke victim singing. Except that would be courageous. Tim is just, I don't know any more. Redundant? jerseypride
mclz
Complete Tim Timebomb and Friends collection. I'm only including the Interrupters - Family 7" because Tim featured the song on his website as part of the series.
