From the way I read it, it seems to me like he knows what he's talking about. But maybe that's just me hoping for an actual pressing so I don't have to pay out the ass or search for one of these 'bootlegs' in a town where no one buys vinyl and there's only one record store near here. I called one of my local shops (Shake It, Cincinnati) and they said that they didnt get any because of Rough Trade getting a huge chunk of them for his "in store" performance... Am I that much in the minority on this? What I've always liked about him was his catchiness , & there really isn't anything catchy about this one. Maybe I'm just too casual of a hip hop fan? I agree with there not being as much "catchiness" on this, but that doesn't bother me. I love and probably will love everything this man ever does. Yea, bull moose sent out an email to their preorder customers saying that the vinyl was a little delayed and that "a few" people wouldn't get their orders filled, but they still didn't know how many they were getting. Side note: I watched the short film he made and it was pretty interesting. The screenplay that goes along with the album is kinda neat too. I read the first couple of pages. For certain albums I can see getting a second copy especially if one of them is a rare variant but I just cant do the 12 variants for the same album.
