derrickcook19941
they probably just refunded you what they paid for shipping to you, since theyre not gonna do research or listen to you to figure out what it actually cost you. not sketchy, just idiotic. verb1999
That's like complaining that the sketchy drug dealer on the corner shorted your bag. At least you didn't get robbed. If digital-vinyl is the equivelant of a sketchy drug dealer, than your analogy is accurate. I don't see the comparison. they probably just refunded you what they paid for shipping to you, since theyre not gonna do research or listen to you to figure out what it actually cost you. not sketchy, just idiotic. They asked for copies/scans of the receipt from the USPS, which obviously I proided. They also wanted copies for "tax purposes". On top of that, there is/was a big post office stamp on the package that read the price I paid. It was more than obvious, there was nothing to research or figure out. It was purely friendly emails exchanged the entire process, until the refund was only 1/3 of what it should have been. Even then I was more than civil in questioning the amount, and if/when they would refund the rest. I just got no response afterwards. Unfaithful, dishonest cheapskates. And sketchy. soundofsulfur
Amazon e-mailed me earlier saying I was being upgraded to 'release date delivery'. With SRC also announcing it, that date looks promising. Can the title of this post be changed since the vinyl release is pretty much official? Also, Respect The Classics' site says the Slim Shady LP, Eminem Show and 8 Mile soundtrack reissues are out now. Still can't find a purchase link anywhere though. http://www.respecttheclassics.com/

Didn't know 8 Mile had been reissused as well, I may have to grab that too.

slinch
I recently picked up the MM LP (reissue). Man, that thing sounds bad. But I did feel a wave of nostalgia, so I have to dig out my CD.
amnstypls
The MMLP Reissue does sound awful! Especially the inner grooves. So bad.

russtcb
Dr 2001 also sound not too great....mine also has some skips.....pretty dissapointed I've got a Back On Black issue of Chronic 2001 that sounds great. I got a chance to listen to The Slim Shady LP today and liked how it sounded too. Maybe there's just a bad run of some of them?

vinylfilmaholic
I have a "back to black" of MMLP1 and it sounds really good to me. I'm wondering if the back-to-black is a different master than this new reissue that I've been seeing.

russtcb
Picked up MMLP2 last Friday. Wasn't expecting much in the way of sound, but it sounds quite a bit better than I was expecting.

bgibbs
Got mine in the mail yesterday. Anyone else notice that the US version is missing Baby as well as the bonus tracks that the Euro release got?
vinylfilmaholic
This release is for MMLP2, not the first MMLP. Yes, I know that, I am the one who created the topic, I was just chiming in with my opinion on the recent MMLP1 pressings.
soundofsulfur
Damnit, my copy has two side B's. On a side note, The Slim Shady LP reissue is up on Amazon for $23, pretty good price for the Respect The Classics series. 8 Mile soundtrack is on there too. http://www.amazon.com/The-Slim-Shady-LP-Eminem/dp/B00000ICXV/
pizza face
So from my understanding the MMLP1 back to black vinyl is better than the respect the classics? Only asking because I might buy the back to black version. Just found it at Newbury comics... I don't want it to sound like shit
amnstypls
I own it. Sounds horrible.
pizza face
You own respect the classics or back to black 180g?
Bladew1ll1s1sdead
Just stopping in to say Nate Ruess is the only reason this has a good song. Anything pre Recovery is flawless though.
