Most of those teens etc choose to work at Hot Topic because they see it as a status symbol rather than an employment option.

But that's just what I think. I never had a problem with Orland Square, but I cleaned them out of a good 10+ records the other day so hopefully they get a few of this and the other recent items.

As a retail worker, id prefer you call and ask to hold it. I would rather answer your call and bum you out if we don't have something, than you drive up to the mall and waste your time then leave even more disappointed. Also such a hot item, most employees probably know whether or not they have it.

If it's anything like the HT near me there are only two registers and like five or more employees. They are normally great about answering their phones.

I'm sure a lot of them didn't "choose" a retail job. I guarantee most of the people working HT today are high school / college students who have not many other options for jobs.

Seriously? Have you been in a Hot Topic? Based on the facial piercings, tattoos, ear gauges, etc, I'm thinking they chose to be there.
