brandy
Could you guys (thebiglebowski, kylekrische, sacredheart, 77satellites) please vote for another album? A soundtrack or a comp with 'various artists'. I think we could add in another round of 'artist b-side albums' in subsequent rounds.
brandy
Your thread, your rules. Whats the call? Comps limited to those featuring 'various artists' only. I'll add another b-sides round in future since everyone seems to love Cocktails & Dreams here and wants to throw in a vote for it. It really seems weird seeing these b-side albums going up against soundtracks and stuff like that. Sorry for the confusion, everyone! dreamover
i thought we were doing artist-specific comps next (like greatest hits and b-sides.)

brandy
i thought we were doing artist-specific comps next (like greatest hits and b-sides.) Currently I have live albums up next after this. After that we'll have b-sides? Not too sure about including greatest hits though. Seems unfair to pit greatest hits against b-side albums. *derailed my own thread. fuck*
deafening
If comps are various I assume the soundtrack needs to various as well? Tron > everything, so I just wouldn't vote if it needs to be various.

Tron > everything, so I just wouldn't vote if it needs to be various. Only comps to be various. Soundtracks are fine. I don't wish to complicate things further! I hear you. But since it has come to this, let's just have a b-sides category then..!

sacredheart
I dont think that it should be B-Sides only, as a lot of bands never had official studio albums, but do have EP's and singles on a "complete discography" type thing which wouldn't count. Just my thoughts though. I change my pick to the first Give Em The Boot

Just my thoughts though. I change my pick to the first Give Em The Boot That's true. If it's just b-sides, then stuff like Minor Threat's CD and Fugazi's 13 Songs won't count. Maybe a compilations round. But just no greatest hits (eg. Blink 182's greatest hits).

mrewest
Scott Pilgrim gets my vote. Varsity Blues, Angus, & The Crow get runners up.
laralaurent
Many great soundtracks to choose from and while I am not the strongest Pearl Jam fan, I love Vedder's work here. American Beauty is my runner up. Others: The Devil's Rejects Nightmare Before Christmas Midnight in Paris There Will Be Blood The Master
