ksuwdboots
So....what are the covers on it? All Through the City - Dr. Feelgood Closer to the Stars - Soul Asylum Hard Luck Woman - Kiss I Gotta Get Drunk - Willie Nelson The Last Thing I Ever Wanted Was to Show Up and Blow Your Mind - The Bastards Souls
sacredheart
I haven't heard the last song yet but enjoyed the first four and the Christmas song. Looking forward to getting the vinyl in April.
bobfrombob
I have my principles, and I have a list of bands I abandon my principles for. Ordered
dawhizz
I would think a limited edition if 1,000 would sell out, no?
toomanyrecords
Boys and Girls in America is one of my favorite albums ever I tried listening to Stay Positive and Heaven is Whenever and neither really did it for me... the pricetag is a bit too high for me to jump at it
The Exquisite Death of NK
Here's the deal, the first two albums are basically impossible to come by at a reasonable price. And Boys and Girls of America never sells for less than $35. So, moral of the story, I ordered this. Excited for some new material from these guys. I LOVE the first four albums, but Heaven is Whatever never really did it for me. Hoping I dig this one.
gutzonborglum
I'm really on the fence with this. I completely and utterly loved the first two albums, as it was a continuation of Lifter Puller. 'Almost Killed Me' was near perfect, and Separation Sunday was like a 'Part II'. 'Boys And Girls In America' kept my attention, but I really drifted away after that. I still really love these guys, but never find myself listening to anything other than AKM, or SS. I might sleep on it.
The Exquisite Death of NK
Looks like the only vinyl options that aren't sold out now are the $50+ bundles.
ludakrishayes
Bit on this and went for a gold + t-shirt bundle at $35. $10 for a shirt assuaged the pain of the price tag on the LP, just a little. Anybody get tickets to the Music Hall show? What a shitshow!

ludakrishayes
Nope. the crazier thing is that people are actually paying the $190-$200 prices on stubhub. That's terrible. They'll be around again!
sirrichardrichard
It's billed as a "10th Anniversary Show", so that might add to the allure.
sacredheart
Looks like the only thing available now with the gold record is the $100 set. Considering the RSD version of HIW is still pretty easy to get a hold of (and less made as well), I dont think this will be too hard to get down the road. thebiglebowski
Love this band but there's no way I'll pay $100 to have the lp. Have collected more shirts than I need. Will watch for cheaper options and if not, eff it. I can enjoy the mp3s too. Dusted_By_Space
timsimmons
I'm sure that's just for the gold variant. I'm sure there will be a standard LP. spilled milk

spilled milk
My man. Been too long. let's be honest here, i'm gonna buy this thing but not a second before i see a wavform, since all of their albums sound like ass on wax...
timsimmons
We need an official waveform thread here. eight1echo

I picked up the boys and girls reissue from a shop last year and never play the stupid thing because it sounds so compressed/harsh
timsimmons
Almost Killed Me and Separation Sunday sound OK, Its the other 3 that sound terrible. Especially Stay Positive.
spilled milk
yeah, Almost Kills Me is the best sounding to these ears. the rest are trash that would be passable at $10-11/per album, but otherwise, completely unacceptable.
sacredheart
So bullmoose has it up to preorder, no mention of color but I assume it isnt the gold since that is sold out online and limited, but it is 24.97. I was hoping the standard release would be much cheaper.

shorthairedmetal
Hey guys, Mike from Razor & Tie here. The gold pre-order variant is actually a 2xLP and features gold foil on the sleeve. Hope that clears up the concerns about the $25 price. Let me know if you have any questions. Also, I'll be more present on here going forward and sharing news of our upcoming pre-orders, so don't hesitate to reach out. veggiecorecords, astrangerwithcandy and degenerex
