BTW. I love how people take time out of their day to post how they won't be buying this copy, just a waste of breath (finger typing breath) NewBury will continue their business as long as people are buying them... but on that note I think the last fair priced record for me personally was the Repave album by Volcano Choir probably then after that most the prices just boomed. Probably not likely to find it for 10$ unless you get lucky with an auction or find it at a local used store as it's hitting the shelf. Cheapest domestic copy on Discogs right now is 17+shipping, which isn't terrible... but also not too far off of Newbury's price. I could go for that. I mean if you sign up to their email thingy they kind of explain what's in the works for the quarterly year anyhow but still sounds like a cool idea. Do these Newbury "limited editions" gain value over time? Truthfully speaking? For me? No but there are in fact variant collectors who dedicate their library to this sort of deal. With 1,000 that should be able to float around freely in the market whether it be Discogs or eBay for a long long time. For me, the only thing that grows in value are editions of 200 just because by sheer numbers it's harder to obtain and most likely true fans have those records and wouldn't want to let it go.
