radiatorhums reacted to kylekrische in Homeland Season 3
Ahh man I've been totally floored by this whole season, I absolutely love it. The development is incredible. I don't think they can afford to kill off Brody. The guy is the show, he's second only to Claire Danes in acting and killing him is cheap after all the shit he's been through/survived.

radiatorhums reacted to Princess Logan in Small Talk Revival Thread
I passed out before midnight last night after overdosing on sparkling cider and various snacks...while watching a really terrible made for tv Christmas movie with one of my childhood best friends. Also sling yoga was involved.
It was honestly the best sleep I've had months and I even woke up before my alarm.
The actual reason behind this post is "damn, I missed a lot of drama in the Brand New thread while I was away."

My dog went in for some regular vaccinations this morning and the dog doctor told me that he's all around in good condition. No real story, just happy that he's doing well and wanted to share it.

radiatorhums got a reaction from mattvsshark in PO: Tycho - Past Is Prologue 2xLP
Got mine in today, thank you Amazon Prime!
My first thought was that the whole release is really heavy. I was surprised by the weight of it when I opened it up. A very thick jacket and fairly thick printer inner sleeves. The records sound good as well.
Few small problems are that the printer inner sleeves are a bitch to get back into the jacket. That and they seemed to lightly mark up one of my discs when I pulled it out. I'd recommend getting some different sleeves for the records.
Overall, the release is solid and Ghostly did a good job.

You live in Jersey, I don't think you're in a position to really make a judgement on Seattle.
Please, try again.

I had Lagunitas Fusion 18 (10% Imperial IPA) earlier today, it was excellent. Incredible floral aroma, not overly sweet and it finished a little bitter. That brewery pumps out such good beer.

radiatorhums got a reaction from codeine in Kyle Kinane vs. Pace Salsa
I don't really care if this was whole interaction was a fake. I thought it was funny when I thought it was Pace and I still find it funny even if it wasn't. The fact that he got a bunch of us to believe that he was in a Twitter spat with Pace is a pretty good goof too.

radiatorhums reacted to slinch in Post Your Record Storage Area
Okay, this one's going to be a bit weird. This isn't my record storage area, but it was my record mailer & other packaging storage area. For some reason I still had almost every mailer, box and padded envelope since my very first ebay purchase in 2006, tucked away in the garage. I reused quite a few when selling stuff, but other than that everything was still there, so no packaging was ever thrown away. 7 and a half years later I decided to finally get rid of everything, but put it all in a pile and took a pic first. So this is the postal packaging for almost every internet purchase I made (music, movies, games, electronics) between March 2006 and November 2013:

I love how so many of the websites for record cleaning products were probably designed in 1994 and never updated.

I'll never understand how people justify owning those things. It seems like all they do is shit in a box and ruin possessions.

Magic Bullet does a great job keeping stuff in print, so I don't think you need to worry about completely missing out on this.

radiatorhums got a reaction from ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ in The League (Season 4)
It seems like any TV thread that isn't Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire or The Walking Dead doesn't get bumped too often.
I enjoyed the last season quite a bit. I feel like it's slipped into it's comfort zone a lot, but it still makes me laugh and that's the important thing. I know this is counterintuitive for the show, but I could do with out all the football player guest appearances. It seems forced and I don't think it ever adds anything.
