Had to grab the purple Hectic to go with the purple Energy.

It is a black copy. I helped the manager unpack the shipment in order to get it before it was on the shelves, and there was no color/indie exclusive in any of the boxes.
 
I saw earlier on this thread that there may have been a white indie exclusive, but any online stores I found a listing for don't list the white color, so I'm not sure if that was ever true?

New F2F song is streaming.  Loving the artwork too for the new LP. Hoping the PO goes up today 🤞🏻.  Looks like Fat does them on Thursdays.  I saw Trevor post it on his instagram.. possibly a few hours early.

Yeah the TBA colors are curious because of the countdowns attached to them. I feel like one of them is an indie exclusive.

Hey Pure Noise, can we just nip it in the bud and get the least limited version with the screen printed/numbered/fold over cover NOW instead of in three weeks? Thanks.

I believe they have them in hand and are shipping ASAP.

Yeah, apparently all of the $20-25 vinyl reissues use the same digital mastering going back to the 80s (done by George Horn). The only difference is the color. Different outlets sell different variants each year: VMP did one, as did Kohl's, Cracker Barrel (!!), and I think UO has done 3 or 4 by now.
 
If you want all-analog, this is the only one to get, and it's gonna set you back $150+ at this point. (The 45 RPM version of this is even pricier.) But you might get lucky and find one cheaper! Check UPCs!

Seems like Fantasy licenses a couple of colored variants of the same (digital-sourced) version every year.

It’s the ALC version w/ instrumentals - it will be the same as the LULU drop:

$45 Black open pre-order

Or maybe some of the ashes from the Universal fire that burned the master tape.
 
I will stick with my scuffy UK mono pressing. 👍🏻

If it came with a booger out of Keith’s nose it might actually be worth the $100.

I respect C&S for what it is, but IMO Wasting Light is the pinnacle of perfection that doesn't get enough recognition for how phenomenal it is compared to their entire catalog

Blue Note announced their Classics reissue series. It's a continuation of the BN80 series. Lots of heavy hitters in here. AAA mastering. Affordable prices. Best news for jazz vinyl reissues recently, imo.
