i don't see the problem with 10 year anniversary shows. seeing an album that you listen to for years actually played front to back live is awesome. that feeling when you can start singing the next song before its even started is awesome haha. i saw the nfg s&s tour the other night and it was awesome. would have killed to see tayf or yfw played front to back. and deja entendu full acoustic wouldn't be nearly as bad as yfw fully acoustic. now that would be a bummer. I SAID AWESOME A LOT HOLY SHIT

I saw a post in here about Danny from SRC being an ass. I've only ordered once through SRC. They sent me the wrong color of a record. Danny immediately replied and apologized and said he would send me the right color as soon as possible free of charge ($50 angels and airwaves 4xLP). I said it was cool if they just added it to my TSL pre order. Everything went smooth, he responded almost immediately every time, and as long as the record shows up with my TSL album, then I can only say good things about him. He was really polite and helpful in every email.

Man, I really got torn a new asshole for what I thought was a harmless comment. And I wasn't even the one who said /5000 was overkill. Last time I mention The Wonder Years in a metal thread/comment whatsoever on pressing numbers. Anyways, to stay on topic, I've had this split for a while and it rules. Slept in the day the PO went up and missed the pink /250 so I had to settle for the /1500.

Taking Back Sunday - Tell All Your Friends - 1st press blue /550 Say Anything - ...is a Real Boy - 1st press black/green /1000 So stoked to finally have 1st presses of both these albums off my want list.

Kept checking back a couple times every day, and looks like I got lucky! Just grabbed 1 copy and now they're gone again. I'm stoked! EDIT: Still copies available! Jump on this so flippers don't!

I've been spinning this a lot in the past 2 days, and I actually enjoy it. It's what I want from a MO album, catchy and fun. It's nothing special, but it's an enjoyable listen to me at least. But that "you wanna hear something creepy" line.....is kinda creepy.

mine came in today. its the purple. it's not 180g is it? mine feels quite heavy, and i'm confused. i don't have a scale but i compared it to some other 180g records of mine and they feel the same.

I wasn't implying it was a stretch pressing 5000, I was implying that saying the kid doesn't want record labels to press enough records to meet demand was a stretch. Man, people get worked up easily here! Anyways, got my splatter today and it looks and sounds great. Thank you Deathwish.

...I think that's a bit of a stretch. 5000 is a lot when bands the size of The Wonder Years are pressing 4000~ for a first press. That's all he seemed to be implying. Not anything negative.

My blue copy just came in. The surface noise is unbearable. Really annoying during the quiet parts. And i got the birds 7" and its warped like a taco shell, just not quite to that extent.

Ohh. Makes sense. I didn't hear about the rejected press. Good to hear.
