Do you store your records inside the walls? That's the only logical reason that termites would get to them.. If you have termites inside your home eating your shit, then you need to move immediately. Not that you will be able to sell your house in those conditions.

PO NOW : Foo Fighters - But Here We Are (06/02)
ntslash replied to archiced's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I haven't listened to the track yet, but In Your Honor is the last Foo Fighters album I really enjoyed. So this gives me some optimism. -
PO (NOW): Sufjan Stevens - Reflections

Fuck this. Give me Age of Adz Part 2! -
I also got the indie exclusive, and it looks very cool. Doesn't sound like anything special to me though. Just sounds like a typical pressing.

I sold my original as well. Got over $200 for it. I don't regret it at all now that this is coming out!

PO: The National - First Two Pages Of Frankenstein LP
ntslash replied to dreamover's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
They played three new songs when I saw them this summer, and they were all great. Much better than anything from the last album, which I also found quite underwhelming.- 24 replies

What To Clean Vinyl With???
ntslash replied to TimeToMoveOn's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
If you want to go the budget route, I recommend this set - https://amzn.to/3CRUnNA If you have a bit more money to spend, go with this - https://amzn.to/3XBPqAE It also depends on how dirty your records are. -
Selling records and the new tax law
ntslash replied to LIGMA_BALLZ's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I mean, you're still supposed to pay taxes on any earnings whether you receive a 1099 form or not. The new tax law wasn't setting new limits for taxpayers - just new minimums for tax forms to be provided to taxpayers. You're still supposed to report everything you earn. But I won't tell anyone if you don't. -
I'm actually more amazed that people spent an extra $250 on a single piece of paper from Gavin's journal. Makes $2000 for a puppet seem quite reasonable!

The 2LP pressing from the box set is way better than the old single LP. I assume this new issue is the same.

Am I listening to a different album? I didn't find this boring or repetitive at all. The whole thing is excellent in my opinion. I will be spinning this a lot.

PO My Morning Jacket Circuital Delux
ntslash replied to unravelled's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I haven't heard anything about pressing numbers, but every other site (including Amazon) lists this as random color. I think all 3 options are cool, so I placed an order with Bullmoose and another with Amazon to try my luck. These can't be very limited. I would guess at least a few thousand of each color. -
I considered this, but I couldn't pull the trigger after watching the video of the super warped record on their turntable and the graphic that shows the label fully submersed in the cleaning machine. How am I supposed to trust a company that can't even find a flat record to use as a demo? This looks like amateur hour.

PO: Alice In Chains - Dirt
ntslash replied to DarrenMcCall's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Nothing here, but the original description said it would ship around end of October, so I'm not expecting anything yet. -
PO: Alice In Chains - Dirt

I have spun the Walmart red and the black versions, and I don't notice anything odd about the opening of Them Bones. I will listen harder tonight. I can't believe people are describing the second half of this album as a slog. I can't imagine skipping side C. This album is about as flawless as they come for me.
