I tried to sell something here a few times over a like a year and kept getting lowballed (I was selling it at cost MINUS shipping). Sold it for 5x as much on discogs after having it listed for a week.

I do this with cheap records and grab bag shit all the time. Usually end up just throwing them in when I sell other records.

Yeah, I charge a flat $5 ($6 on discogs) and typically pay whatever a seller sets when I buy something. I remember when it used to be called "shipping and handling" I dunno if that term is still used because I don't pay too close attention. Although, sometimes it costs more for me to ship than I charge. I'll throw insurance on there if it's more than a $15 record and I've had that come out to a little more than $5-6 total. But I do insurance to protect myself, because I know a buyer can just go through PayPal and I'm SOL.

Translation Loss goes a little overboard with their colors, but they're a solid label and in my experience always put out really quality products. Ordered this without having heard it just because I've been wanting more post-rock records to get stoned to.

Just wanna share a little anecdote. My girlfriend's father is a lifelong musician and music lover. He's been playing for over 50 years. He saw Jimi Hendrix play a $0.50 matinee before he blew up. Went to all the big shows at the Filmore East in the late 60s early 70s. Met David Bowie and shit. Bought Pretty Hate Machine long before The Downward Spiral came out. Serious musician and fan. About 2 years ago he wanted to show us "this really cool new band" and he put on 21 Pilots. We both laughed so hard we cried and he got really cranky about it. Unrelated but another time he was like "My metalhead friend showed me this really cool band" and then put on Haste the Day. I told him to find cooler metalhead friends. He made fun of me for going to see Thursday.

Is this a $40 LP? Christ. These guys played at the mall here last week. I remember when they used to play dive bars. I was about to make fun of them, but then I realized they were playing like 100 feet from the Auntie Annie's pretzel place. That's a pretty sweet deal.

Just don't ever take it personal or let it discourage you from texting me. My little sister moved 3/4 of the way across the country last week and I couldn't bring myself to text her when she wanted to see me before she left. Somehow it's easier for me to communicate any other way, even though I WANT to text people back...
