They use "constant contact". My school email didn't call it spam, it "quarantined" it. Had to figure out how to get it unquarantined (a separate url that would let me release emails from a certain sender).

i have a similar one made by dejay that's tan and pink. i randomly picked it up back in college. i tried playing some old beat up records on it, but the sound is pretty awful, so it's not very useful for actual listening, but it looks pretty sweet on my shelf. and i can balance it on my head.

Matter of fact, people have been making these forever.

I don't want to pay $45 for their best album but I'll pay $45 for far less superior STP albums.  That's what I read in the above statement.  Makes a lot of sense.  A LOT.

Is it weird to collect cars if you don't have a license?  Is it weird to collect comics if you're illiterate?  The answer you're searching for is "yes".  That being said, you're supporting bands you like (WTF? Bands are charging $8 at a show for a 7"?  Really???) and there's value in that.  And if there is an endgame of you eventually owning a record player, that works, too. 

Just buy it for christ's sake. If HT bought exclusive colors, then that's the color that they get.
I think some of you just really enjoy calling customer service hotlines to test the fact that they don't know about the minutia that really only impacts YOU.

Seeing vinyl in a regular old department store would be fun for me to be honest. I would immediately take me back to when I was a kid and every department store had a big ass vinyl section.

Couldn't be less typical of VC. Someone from VC listened to the album, compared it to other versions, posted samples for comparisons, and carried on a private message conversation about audio sources that made its way back around to the thread.
 
Is it minor? For sure, but it's still stupid that there's no quality control. For all I know, it was supposed to sound like someone yelping at the end of the one track because I didn't previously own it. But once I flipped it over, it was evident the tracks were separated incorrectly.

-you are looking for LP compilations, not sporadic singles or 7" box sets
-you want hits and not obscurities since you don't own much yet
-you don't actually want 40s music since you're referring to Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly.
