yeah Pinback's "worst" is still better than alot of band's entire discographies. 

Thanks to everyone who spread the word and bought records! I'm still catching up on emails from people, but I wanted to chime in here too.
 
I wanted to do the liner notes a bit lo-fi, but well designed. Like the cover, which is reverse-board with just black ink.
 
It's similar feel to a zine I made for a class based on the EP. I designed that zine in 2007, and it's been an ever-present aesthetic when I think about the EP. 

Kind of disappointed by this album.
 
It's not a step forward, or back, it's just the same stuff. Plus the lyrics are way too boring on this, but maybe that's because i'm used to them. I like the storytelling, but it's so literal, too literal. 

I posted on the band hinting at this the other day, but it appears the post was deemed non vinyl related and moved. Now it is official, preorders are up:

My recent Topshelf UK order took 8 days to arrive, which is a bit extreme. They are using the SilverBulletMerch distro. I'm going to chalk that up to the fact that they've only recently setup the UK/EU distributor, or maybe they had a stock issue that wasn't noted on the site.
 
I've had items from Topshelf US, MerchDirect US and several others arrive within 7 days on multiple occasions, so hopefully they'll speed up else I may as well just continue to use the US service.

Sent an email to merchdirect last night re: status of Act III repress for the glue issue and got this response:
The record label said that the repressings are done and are shipping out from europe this week, so we're hoping to have them in and shipping out to everyone within the next few weeks.

For the first time in the history of RSD, I got every single thing I wanted without having to scramble online or go hunting all day long!

Most of this seller's records are displayed on a surface with no backing. How do you have so many releases and not the knowledge of how to handle them?

NEWS!!!!!!!!!! A local pawn broker just called me saying a couple have bought in a heap of records and for me to go have a look !!! All old records until I get 15 or so down the pile annnndddd.... my anthony green painted cover!!!!!! They have all their id so I hope police can see if they have the rest! Lucky the broker knew my situation cuz for around 50 records they gave them $1 per record...!!!!

i remember impulse buying this while i was in a mcdonalds drive thru, and i snagged the last splatter copy.

In the UK you're damn right. Every distro I use such as BigScaryMonsters (via AwesomeDistro), BanquetRecords, MonkeyBoyRecords to name a few, for £3-3.50 GBP you get next day delivery, or 1-2 days maximum. TSR-UK via SilverBullet charge £4.75 and it's just sent via the same method, i.e. Royal Mail UK, which for a standard package is 1-2days, most often 1.
 
You gotta remember we pay more for our postage here, we don't have a "media mail" option, and the USA is obviously a lot bigger hence why you may be used to longer delivery times.
 
I often can't fathom why most people in the US complain about postage prices, this may be a reversal in how you can't fathom why an 8 day turn-around is an issue for me As I stated, I can get the US variants, from the TSR store in the same time it takes the UK store to get it to me... That is an issue, and I may as well just use the US store.

power of failing is done. they'll be $18 and i don't have much more info than that. i'll post here when i do though.
